I once went into a several-minute diatribe trying to "sell" them the idea of getting a different job. "Think about all the benefits you'll be getting, Sarah...your name is Sarah, right? My daughter's name is Sarah! We have a lot in common! Listen, since we're friends, I want to know I'm looking out for you here, and I want what's best for you...my company has all sorts of positions, and we can tailor it to fit your needs, and it wont cost you a dime...."

I kept talking without a sliver of breath between sentences, and she stayed on the phone a surprisingly long time before giving up and ending the call.

a million. I in common words take agency calls between the hours of 9 and 5. All calls after that aspect, are seen own calls. Seeing as you aren't any pal of mine, i am going to end his this call. 2. If that different telemarketer has called you more beneficial than once: - my legal specialist considers continual calls to be harassment.

One time I interrupted their sales pitch and started asking them who they thought was going to win American Idol, and I went in to this in-depth explanation of who I thought should win, and why....and why I think the show is rigged....on and on and on......eventually, they just hung up on me.

And another time I simply told one that I was in the middle of cooking dinner, but if she would like to give me her home number, I would be glad to call her back tonight while she is in bed trying to get some sleep, and we could discuss it then...

One thing is that they can't pronounce my name - and ask if "Mrs. Skeloga is there" I say no one here by that name.
