then why didn't adam just say no? He must have been just as corrupting in nature as Eve to take the apple? So really men and women are as bad as each other? whats your opinion? do you believe in the Eden thing? or is it just another way for some men to justify hating women? I started dating a Muslim man over one year ago. When we met I was allowed to be the real me. Now, I have changed many things from moving, not working, dressing differently, not wearing makeup, and doing everything he asks without question. I fell in love with him from the beginning and he was wonderful. He seems to follow the culture more so than the religion. I need some insight to what he expects from me and why I cannot be the person I was from the start that he fell in love with as well. Now I do not have a voice and he is always right with any opinion. He still gives me what I want and does treat me well but this is only if I follow his lead and ask no questions. I am not sure if the way he treats me now is based on feelings that he lost although he does not say or this is the way it will be and I am seeing true colors. I know Muslim men respect their women but I do not see this anymore after our year plus living together. Insight from the Muslim community would be helpful.

Why don't Christians understand the principles this country was founded on? Freedom... of speech, religion, etc. If they don't like our laws, they should leave! For example: a)The Target boycott for deciding last year to refer to Christmas as "The Holidays" and not using the word "Christmas" Well, there are people of many different religions in this country. Why don't Christian's understand this? b)Christians' hate for gays and policy against gay marriage. When there are studies showing that homosexuality is possibily genetic, why would Christians be against somebody because of something that they cannot control? That would be like being against black people... oh yeah... Some Christians do that too. c)Christians believe that the laws of this nation should be based on their beliefs. Someone please tell me why Christians don't understand the Constitution and notion of freedom!

Here's the scoop: I, myself, don't particularly like prepaid mobile phones because I talk a lot and like the added features that a contract (though not flexibility) affords. However, I bought my twelve year old cousin a Boost Mobile i415 for Christmas. Then, there are two 5-year old boys, a 6-year old boy, a 9-year old girl, and two 18-year olds that now asking their favorite relative for a phone.

Do you think the 5, 6, and 9-yr. olds are too young for a mobile phone? In regards to the 18-year olds, should I buy them Boost Mobile, CingularGO, or Alltel? Please help. The only reason I bought the 12-yr. old a Boost because he asked. The 18-yr. olds don't care as long as they can use it.

Okay. So I want to buy my boss and my assistant something for Christmas, but i'm stumped as to what. We work for a Greenhouse, so something like a plant would be silly. My boss has anything and everything he needs, and my assistant is a new, single mother and needs all the help she can get. Anyway. Do you think it's a message worthy of contemplation?

Twas the night Jesus came and all through the house, not a person was praying, not one in the house.. The Bible was left on the shelf without care, for no one thought Jesus would come there.. The children were dressing to crawl into bed, not once ever kneeling or bowing their head.. And Mom in the rocking chair with babe on her lap, was watching the Late Show as I took a nap.. When out of the east there rose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.. Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and lifted the sash.. When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but Angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.. The light of His face made me cover my head... was Jesus returning just like He'd said.. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.. In the Book of Life which he held in his hand, was written the name of every saved man.. He spoke not a word as he searched for my name, when He said "it's not here" My head hung in shame.. The people whose names had been written with love, He gathered to take to his Father above.. With those who were ready He rose without sound, while all of the others were left standing around... I fell to my knees but it was too late, I'd waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight, Oh, if only I'd known that this was the night.... In the words of this poem the meaning is clear the coming of Jesus is now drawing near... There's only one life and when comes the last call, We'll find out that the Bible was true after all...

I came on here two weeks ago in need of god. I have been praying to God evrey day and night. I had depression and we couldnt find a house to move into. I have been asking God to bless me and he has. Our realoter called today and said that the lady that was going to buy the house didnt and it dropped a few thousand. I dont feel depressed anymore! And part of it was because of you all! I just wanted to take a minute of my time and to tell you thanks. Happy holidays!

there has to be a mother. If you are omnipotent being why would you be gender specific because the concept of male has no meaning without female, just like if there was no darkness light would be impossible to explain. Why is God a male gender and not just neutral like some organism that is both male and female.

We have the words "In God we trust" on all our money, in our pledge. Most of our presidents have been christian, a large majority of our nation would categorize themselves as christian.
Granted the USA does allow you to practice other relegions, doesn't the Muslim nations allow this too?
