Pei could be the first name and perhaps hua is the middle name.

The tones will make a difference, but don't worry about that for now. :)

It's not a first & middle name, that's the normal way to name someone in China: a family name that's one syllable, plus a given name that's made up of two syllables, ie: Liu Peihua or Zhang Huayan, etc. :) The family name (or surname) will always come first, and the given name will always come second.

Pei is pronounced like the English word "pay." I think Hua is prounced like "H'wa" or "H'wah."
