A middle aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.
While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God
She asked "Is my time up?"
God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a
Facelift, liposuction, and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and
change her hair colour. Since she had so much more time to live, she
figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation,
She was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way
Home, she was killed by an ambulance.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another
40 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"
(You'll love this!!!)

God replied,

"I didn't recognize you."

Yes I know sounds a bit far out but I would love to here other peoples veiws on this when you look at mars saturn and the rest of the planets they all look either burnt out or frozen or coverd in gasses.And hey who,s to say that in 100 years time the rate we are killing our planet we may not look to different from say mars!! as all the planets are similar in some ways but we seem to be the only one with life but as we humans become more advanced the more dangerous we become we all no for sure the next world war will be the last as weapons now are desighned to couse maximum loss of life and they soon will find them selfs in the wrong hands yes for the right price in years to come nukes will be on the black market as the ever growing gap between the rich and the poor grows so will the want for money and power for instance almost 3000 inocent people lost there lives in the 9/11 terroist attacks and not a weapon was used so can you imagine when these animals aquire nukes ..a dead planet.

So far I have joined a few forum and discussion groups of diverse topics and interests, and I never seem to get a personal welcome from the members. I am very nice and I don't post things that would give them a reason to dislike me. In fact, I would say I blend in almost too well, and members often treat me as if I were an old-timer instead of a newbie. I have noticed that sometimes when another newbie posts something that is a little more controversial or more likely to provoke an emotional reaction, they get welcomed much more readily.

This is not a huge deal but it is a mystery to me and I would appreciate it if you could help me figure this out.

Im asking that becasue I see that people are getting agry at others for dissing their beliefs and religions. This page, I believe is here so we can ask questions about religion that we are not sure of and so other people can answer our questions maturely and not offesesively, right? I have a friend visiting my country and we have always been just friends...she is leaving very soon and i feel a knot in my throat, i can't stop thinking of her. All i want is to be around her but when i am its hard to be myself..i turn into a complete nervous dork. I don't think she feels the same about me and it kills me inside to know. She is leaving soon and i know i wont see her for a very very long time, if at all. Am i inlove? what do i do? i'm afraid to tell her cuz i dont think she's into me...... i dont want her to go.

When americans say we are the best i say why, and they say "because we can do as we wish without being imprisonned or being shot, well i say ok, but not every country is like that you moron, start comparing yourself to amazing countries like Ireland, Germany and the UK and we'll see who's better, you're not the best for

- GDP PER CAPITA
- Poverty
- Quality of life
- Leadership (president stinks)
- Crime
- Obesity rates

I mean i suppose the power of the dollar and the love americans have for it, seriously what makes you the greatest, and please don't say freedom, LOL what freedom? You have mass poverty worse than Ireland or Germany, you allow guns to be bought, thats freedom but i want to stay in a safe society thanks. we have churches ... we have services
but there are no books to read from
we have philosophies and healing sections ... followed my mediumship demonstrations....
besides the main religions which i know about ...
do Pagan religions have churches ... books etc that are used during services etc ?

I have been a Christian by default my entire life. I am now almost 21 and I have been doing some studying of the Bible; I am questioning its validity. I am tired of my beliefs being spoon-feed to me, and I am tired of accepting whatever people give me in God's name. I want to find out what the real truth about God is, and what God wants for me, but it is so difficult because there are so many different religions with different prophets all claiming that God has spoken to them, yet their messages conflict! Everyone thinks that they are right and that everyone else is going to burn in hell...that just doesn't seem right to me! Plus, I am afraid that my extreme Christian mother in law and all of the other Christian people I know will tell me that "Satan is taking over my life and making me doubt the Bible".....I am desperate to know God and to know the absolute TRUTH about life, but my fear of going to hell is holding me back. Does anyone have any advice for me on what to do?
