It could be the Keebler Elves.
They have that keen hearing, so they could hear your prayers and wake you up the next morning.
Besides, God wants you in Heaven with him, so why would he answer your selfish prayers to wake up?

An interesting question. From a spirituality perspective, the prayer to God helps you succeed in you endeavors. From the standpoint of reason, it helps you remember and gives you motivation to succeed.

No. God does answer prayers, though- he just doesn't always answer them how we want him to. You can pray to win the lottery, for example, and never get it- not because he didn't hear you, but because he has bigger fish to fry.

absolutely, everyday of your life is a miracle, a gift from God, given because of his grace not because of anything you did or could do, do not take life for granted, pray continuously and continuously thank God for all you have.
