cause people want to say what's on their minds even if the question is stupid. they want to be heard and they are also bored. everyone wants to spread their knowledge. and about kirsten dunst its b/c she's young, white, and rich. many young white actresses who are not that pretty are considered hot. why? i don't know. but i guess its b/c their white, young, and rich. if they weren't rich they wouldn't be considered hot. money is a powerful thing. when your broke, no one wants you. when your rich, everyone wants you.

People love to write essays because Yahoo is the only place one can actually say what you think without caring how ridiculous you sound.
My husband and both grown sons love Kirsten Dunst, she is cute and acts well! Besides, "Mom," this is my son talking, "she has a nice butt!"
Hmm, I don't know, not something I look at unless it belongs to Malcolm-Jamal Warner or 'Vin'. I may be old but I'm not dead! lol

They may not take the question as a joke, or they may give the questioner a serious answer so they'll have to think about how silly their question was, and that they're being frivolous.
Kirsten Dunst...your guess is as good as mine. She seems nice enough tho.

a lot of the 'obviously ridiculous' questions challenge people's beliefs. also, as a Christian its a good thing to spread God's word, and so when people obviously dont take it seriously, or misunderstand it a Christian might want to help them out.
as for the second thought-provoking question, maybe its personal choice.
