Im asking that becasue I see that people are getting agry at others for dissing their beliefs and religions. This page, I believe is here so we can ask questions about religion that we are not sure of and so other people can answer our questions maturely and not offesesively, right? Im sure we can all answer without offending so lets try to do that.

yes! but this is a forum where feelings have been withheld, so its ok if there is anger, if we have the answers for them we are doing a good job. Religion has created a lot of anger, and it is so obvious here. It is to do with a belief system, and people will naturally not like to hear they are wrong. Each one believes "my way is the high way!"

I don't get angry over things on the internet. Not in the general course of things anyway.
The biggest problem is that the Christians seem to think this is the Christian page and dismiss the fact that it's for all Religions and Spirituality.

As great as that would be, this is probably the most controversial subject in existence. People get more opinionated and emotional about religion than anything else. The fighting is really inevitable.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

It would be wonderful if we could just ask and answer questions maturely and not offensively. Unfortunately, some people believe that it is their duty to shove their faith down everyone else's throat, which makes it much harder for those of us who do just want to ask and answer questions to stay calm and not get our knickers in a knot.

Because Monotheism comes with a certain amount of arogance in claiming that you are the only person (or belief structure) who knows what is right... and that makes everyone else wrong.
Kind of un-christian coming from the loving and accepting theology of Christ

No they cannot. If you have been here for any time, you should have realized that the vast majority of people are here to either insult others directly or insult their beliefs. It was a nice thought though.
