When you learn a language later in life, that is it not being yoru first language, do you translate it back to your first language each time you hear the words ? Or do the words automatically make sense as they would in your native language? Is it possible ever to forget your native language?

Many atheisist ignore the question and immediately start accusing people of making generalizations when they are called out.

Many atheisists are very hypocritical because they generalize alot.

Why do many atheists use this defense when all it does is make people laugh?

Amad da quanta invito Lucifer.

Reading this sentence you have now formally invited Satan into your spirit. He knows he can not stay for long but he will be with you for a while. Strange things will begin to happen. But fear not, he will only borrow you. If you think you are protected, think again. No one walks this earth sin free so therefor the devil has been in us all, and because you asked, he is now within you and will show you things for a while.

FYI
Well the crooks have found a way to rob you of your gift card balance.
If you buy Gift Cards from a display rack that has various store cards
you may become a victim of theft. Crooks are now jotting down the card
numbers in the store and then wait a few days and call to see how much
of a balance THEY have on the card. Once they find the card is
"activated", and then they go online and start shopping. You may want to
purchase your card from a customer service person, where they do not
have the Gift Cards viewable to the public. Please share this with all
your family and friends...

Faith is power, faith is love.
Faith is worshipping our God above.
Faith is beliving in the cross.
Faith is relizing what we lost.
Faith is letting your troubles melt away.
Faith is praying day after day.
Faith is what keeps me going strong.
faith leds me in worship and in song.
Faith people question and I don't know why.
Faith will never, ever die.
Faith puts me to sleep at night.
Faith it always feels so right.
Nonbelivers near and far.
Nonbelivers gather wherever you are.
If you run it's out of fear.
You know, I know something you must hear...
Nonbelivers.......where is your faith?

I just read an answer to a question about the environment:

"Those of us who believe in God know that Jesus will come back and take us to heaven in a few years. Why waste our money taking care of a planet which will be destroyed by Jesus anyway"

It's those sorts of insane ideas that bring Atheists to this section. Those ideas need to be argued for the sake of humanity, our planet and more specific our children or future children.

Do I even have to ask if it makes sense that Atheists come to this section?

My mother described our ethnic background as French, Chippewa, and Bohemian. Is this Czech or is this Polish? I don't think she was taught the proper origin and therefore mispoke when teaching me.

I live down south (US south) and have become friends with somebody who just recently moved here from up north. I never really realized how "country" me and my family were, until she pointed it out (in a nice way...she wasn't rude). But she said its just the little stuff, like the way we talk (obviously)..the fact that my granny makes her own medicine (with whiskey and Hore Hound candy)....my uncles wedding (took place at our pond at night...every body brought their guitars and "partied" pretty much).....and then of course there are big differences. She says you about need a passport to come down here, but in a good way.

In all honesty I have never been to a part of the US besides the southern states....is it really that different?

Thanks for the answers!
