Should there be one in a rural ity and what are they?

It's in between the first and last house. Just kidding. It is a place where drug addicts,or alcoholics go to get back on the right track.
Meaning they get the help they need to overcome their addictions through work programs,etc.

A halfway house is a place where people live temporarily while they're getting themselves together from alcohol, drugs, or some other problem. It's not a homeless shelter, but there are rules: such as doing work around the place and things like that.
