Quite simple really. Excalibur! The sword which symbolizes the culmination of the above factors.
Excalibur is better than any other sword because of it's magical origins. Swords were only carried by nobles who are sworn to protect the King, the Church, the weak etc. It is in the shape of a cross. The sword is not to be used for personal gain, etc.

Born of Uther Pendragon (then king of England) and Ygraine (sister of Morgan Le Fey), out of wedlock by magical help;
raised unknowing of his heritage by Merlin (talk about supernatural help!);
he's strong but not really all that wise unless he's calm and remembers Merlin's counseling;
the other dude is right, Excalibur is the quintessential Magical sword!
However, Excalibur's scabbard is even more magical! So long as it is worn, the wearer's wounds do not bleed!!!
