Bush and Blair seem to follow a lot of Hitler's policy of world domination by force.

My coworker is a Jehova Witness and doesn't celebrate Christmas. I planned on bring in little gift baskets of cookies for some of the other co-workers as Christmas gifts. i don't want to make this on coworker think I am leaving him out, but I do not want to offend him. He's a nice guy and we discuss our religous view all the time civilally. As long as I don't make is basket look all Christmasy do you think it would be the right think for me to give him one too? Or do you think I should try something else for everyone as group (such as bring in breakfast) to show respect for him?

since you have converted to your new religion, have you changed who you are inside, or just your spiritual beliefs? are you still the same funny and caring person you were before, or the hateful jerk you were before, or has yuor religion changed who you were inside?

have your political beliefs changed?

have you changed your opinions on your former religion or anything?

i am a christian who might possibly convert to judaism. however, i feel that christianity is a great religion.. if i was a jew, i would still love jesus because of what he did for people, and i would still celebrate christmas. and the story of jesus' birth and the virgin of mary.. that story will always be great in my opinion. although i might change spiritually, i would still be the same person i was before.

There is CHRONOLOGICAL age, and then there is EMOTIONAL age. Some people may be mature beyond their years at 10, while others are immature at 50.

It has been my observation... and my own experience that many people who are 18 all the way into their 20s, do tend have the mind of someone who is 10 or 15 and make stupid choices that will affect them for the rest of their lives.

Now, why is it that few people take into consideration a person's emotional maturity when judging another person's actions?

I wonder what things come to mind when people think of New England. I live in NE and I'm always curious how we're perceived. If you don't think of anything please do not answer the question since it would just be for points. Thanks!

So far I have read 1 book for Atheism: The God Delusion. The book is great but its so rough for people who still believe in God, not a good way to convert someone!

Usually I don't like to push atheism on believers except when I feel that its preventing them from doing what is actually best for them/others.

I am looking for the best book for atheism i.e. supporting atheism in a way better than the God Delusion does. Or you may just answer: Its the God Delusion, that's the best way to do with people who push their beliefs on you!

my Pagan beliefs that God (or as I prefere to say, The Divine) is manifest as The Father and The Mother? I've had many Christians tell me that Paganism is not monotheistic because I believe in a God and Goddess... yet with this argument... how is Christianity any more monotheistic? I'm not angry, just curious as to how others see this.

Just once I would like to move into a place that I don't have to fight the insects for control over. When I leave the problem is solved. I recently moved and I specifically asked about pest problems and the landlord said there were no bugs. I wonder how they will explain the goliath that was sitting in the bathroom sink playing solitaire when I walked in there the next morning! I could have taken that critter shoe shopping it was so huge. Any similar experiences?

Jesus wanted me to ask this question, for his purposes, so I did..... Praise God almighty. Thank you Jesus:)

It's not the fate of our nation that is riding on this question, but our souls individually.

This world is fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever. 1 John 2:17

Love and Peace be with you all on this Sunday and every day afterwards.

When it was a long, long time ago and it did not affect any blacks living today. Hey, I am Irish and we were enslaved by the Scandinavians and British, but do I hate them?? No, I don't. I'm not a racist and I have gotten along with many black people, but it just kind of annoys me because no White today had any Black slaves. Sure there are some White racist, but I've heard people on TV and on the computer saying how Whites are racist because they enslaved and segregated us.

I live on a college campus. I found an iPod in a computer lab. I kept it and put up a sign saying I found it. But, since ANYONE can just see the sign and call me and say, "Yeah, that iPod's mine," even if it's not theirs, I wrote on the sign:

E-mail [my address] with the following information:
- model of iPod
- 5 songs on the iPod (beginning with "A" for convenience)
- any engravings, covers, decorations

Do you think that's reasonable? Or is there a better test that I could use? How should I arrange for us to meet to return the iPod?
