No one is blaming the whole muslim community....you sound paranoid.

Because evidently some of the Muslim clerics have not done a very thorough job of rooting out the extremists within their own core of worshippers and believers in the mosques located in this country. More cooperation with the authorities is needed. Some very good spokesmen have come forward, but more needs to be done because, I agree with you, racial profiling is extremely unfair.

There are extremists in all religion. I knew a Muslim back in college, nice guy (that was some time ago), and I have no problems with someone who is Muslim, or any religion for that matter.

I think it is over-reaction and it is definitely wrong.

Lets see...
Because all the terrorists have been muslim.
How is that for a start?
Because they repeatedly call for us to be destroyed.
Because they preach hatred of Americans even here in our own country through their mosques by these leaders who portray themselves as peaceful.
When they finally attack us on such a scale to destroy us even more then will people believe they are still a religion of peace?

Why?
Because it's easier to blame the whole than to do the research and narrow your aim on the true problem.

The "their all bad" attitude has been used about Blacks, Irish, Chinese, Japanese, Latinos, Communism, and Homosexuals to name just a few.

We see and hear it all the time, "those people" "You're either with us or against us" "Some people say that those people ....."

People who are not strong minded enough to have their own opinion just go along to get along.

Because many the Muslim communities are not condemning what their extremists do.

Our country is on a downward spiral - I am saddened by it. I love my country, but we have started to eliminate, slowly, our rights. The media is blaring into every household in America with it's own point of view and agenda. Humanism is now the 'god' of America, and we are reaping the rewards for turning our backs on God.

It is wrong, I agree. 9/11 was so horrific to all of us and we are still reeling from it. Unfortunately, even though we know that not all Muslims are fanatics, it is hard to disassociate the good from the bad.

because in the middle east where they come from, they belive that you should blow yourself up as a sacrifice. what people don't understand is that muslim americians had to have lost family members too in 9/11. they could not have been okay with that.
