THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Finally, a person who feels the same way that I do!!! I'm so sick of this "what would you do with $1000" question. It is almost as if Oprah will do anything to get viewers for her show. Don't people know you can write these so called "gifts" off at tax time? She isn't giving anyone anything! She's drumming up advertisement dollars, people! Dollars....!!! Dollars, the "language" of the rich and 'entitled'!!!
I just get sick and tired of these folks patting themselves on the back all of the time. Hey, if you want to do something for someone, you don't go blabbing about it on the internet or on television!!! You do your good deed not expecting anything in return and it doesn't count if anyone finds out it was you.
So Oprah, Tom, George, Angelina and Brad....give us a break, will ya?

Oh my gosh i am so glad you said this and not me but i had no idea she was posting on Yahoo answers ??? whats the purpose.
Anyway, back in England (when i was naive lol) i thought she was IT i mean the works, well, when i moved to Texas and got a better glimpse of her i realized she wasen't all that she's cracked up to be. I see her contradicting herself countlessly, and i find her to be a two faced arrogant idiot who thinks she's queen. I hate her shows too, which is weird because 5 years ago, i could never miss an airing. She's so full of herself too and as far as giving away cars and crap - does she cover the taxes on her gifts? I bet not. I wish she'd bugger off, but like i say, i don't watch her anymore so i ain't one to *****. Me, i prefer to watch Dr.Phil everyday, now him i can't get enough of.
There's one more thing i'd love to say that Oprah is but i'd probably be crusified for saying it :P
You know who else i despise - Tyra Banks - ugh, i could go on forever as to why she irritates the crap out of me, but whats the point, lol, i have far more better things to be thinking about but as far as Oprah goes, okay i'll just say it, what the hell - i think she's racist - there we go, i said it, i think she's vindictive and selfish and needs a bloody reality check, i wish her rating would drop, just so i never have to hear her name again. I know this sound sincredibly awful but after seeing her true side over here, my eyes have been open to a TRUE fake! and it irritates me at how much credit she takes for other peoples work and sacrifice!

isnt it funny how she "gave away" cars but it was really pontiac and how she wanted to shop at a closed store and all of a sudden it was racist? ive been tired of her incoherent nonsense for years the thing that got me when she had a show on her favorite things and she said to go out and buy this stuff and one of the things was a 25 dollar brownie who the hell would pay that much for a brownie? and why is she on every single issue of her magazine? i live in chicago and i know this for a fact she hates that guy that does the show with roger ebert when she mentions his show she never says the name richard roper i find it funny
