In the news you hear people being described as Muslims and as Islamics (or Islamists) and I was wondering if there is a difference, or are the two words interchangeable to describe the same people?

It had all this sanctimonious bullshit about inner turmoil and we've been there. What a load of crap. What these people don't seem to realise is that the turmoil is usually visited on the victim by all these homophobic do gooders that can't bear the thought of anybody being fulfilled in any other way but their own narrow minded viewpoint. These people are a pox on society. Do they even realise the number of suicides that occur when these victims find they are unable to change their natural God-given sexuality. I read some passages in the bible about "mediums". My understanding of it is that people aren't suppose to contact them because it will open the door to evil spirits. One certain passage says: "'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads." Why is it evil if "Mediums" just have that special gift? They can't help it if they are born with it. Please help me to understand.

I have been having problems for the past month contemplating if i am a gay or a bi.
I mean i like girls and stuff but i just like boys more and it's really confusing me. I really don’t know what to do.

And i don’t know how my parents will handle the news when i tell them because they both hate gays.

I always assumed they did. If one says there is only one all-knowing, all-powerful god. And another says there is only one all-knowing, all-powerful god then can't we assume that they are referring to the same entity.

I just read an answer to another question where the user said "don't be fooled, the God of Jesus Christ is not the God of Islam"

In my opinion, this is the problem with religious nuts, they can be completely illogical?

I look different than other females, I look artsy or rock starish in a
way. At least I FEEL different. Where I live, most everybody is
conservative...they all look the same, and when anyone who comes along likes to be different looking, people don't want to be
friends with ya. The men out here are waaayyy to conservative and
stuck up, or they are hillbilly's. So, I want to be able to feel free to
express my artistic self, and be accepted for who I am. Is that
possible ? Should I just be me....or try and be more "conservative"

I still believe that there should only be one God(be it Allah,Jesus,El Shaddai etc)but writers have different interpretations of events thus developed religions of all sorts and now we are all fighting on "Who will be saved at the end times?" Can't we have PEACE?

Hi there...sorry I was heated...spent most of the evening on the phone with police.

Some of you dont believe a girl was here last night asking questions about suicide, if G-d forgives it, what prayers to read at a funeral, etc. Well it happened, from the bottom of my heart, ON the BIBLE I swear. If you really want proof, email me.

She got many responses telling her how G-d is fake, and only a few asking if she is ok, or needed someone to listen. I told her i was a psych major, and will listen with no BIble at all.

She emailed me this morning before she said she was about to commit suicide. I am still waiting on police to hear the answer.

ANYWAYS.....all I am saying is sorry for the outburst...and when we see someone new, asking questions like that, lets put the agendas down for a moment.
