I look different than other females, I look artsy or rock starish in a
way. At least I FEEL different. Where I live, most everybody is
conservative...they all look the same, and when anyone who comes along likes to be different looking, people don't want to be
friends with ya. The men out here are waaayyy to conservative and
stuck up, or they are hillbilly's. So, I want to be able to feel free to
express my artistic self, and be accepted for who I am. Is that
possible ? Should I just be me....or try and be more "conservative"
looking all the time. Any ideas ??

Be true to your self at all cost! most people go with the cookie cutter way because they don't have an original thought in their head. Be who you are & you will be happy.

Well there is no best place to be creative since creativity comes from the inside. If you want some place big and exciting to live you could go to New York, especially the Soho district. Also Cali around San Fran and Hollywood. However there are lots of smaller towns that are known for arts. I was born in Loveland Colorado and it's known as an arty place. It's pretty much a normal town with lots of art shops and galleries.
If your different then you should be proud of being different and you should live wherever you want. Who wants to be a sheep and just blend in ;o)

If other people make you feel bad or "different" I suggest that you move to a place where you can live by yourself, and only be around others when you choose to be. If you are a city type of person, move to someplace like San Francisco,Ca. or Sedona, Az. Artist hang-outs.

I lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles before. As I have observed, the people in these 2 cities are more open-minded and multicultural. Most of them are friendly...no matter how you dress and the sexuality....

Be who you are, dont tone down your colors to fit into a gray world. I suggest you move to bigger cities like New York, London, Paris, Chicago, L.A, a variety of places. Good Luck!

I think you should try to live inside your mind.

I understand that there is a vacancy.
