and you have asked God for about a month already and haven't seen any results yet..what does that mean? Does it mean that we have to pray more or he doesnt want this for us.

Could be either one. Paul asked to be healed of something 3 times. finally, God told him: "My grace is enough for you" (2 Corinthias 12).
If you have asked God, I don't see the point in repeating the same prayer endlessly. In fact, you could ask Him to show you if you should keep praying for healing. Ask Him to show you how He would have you react while you are living with this infirmity. Ask Him to let HIs life shine through you in your weakness. Thank Him for doing what's best.
God is not like a coke machine where you put the right coins in and the bottle comes out.
Neither is He like a slot machine, where you put the coins in, and if you are lucky, more will come out.
God is somebody you can actually reason with, talk things over with. somebody who can actully convince you of His way of seeing things.

We should pray for whatever we need, however, sometimes the answer may not be the thing we want the most. God may answer your prayer by giving you the strength to endure. I have found that many of the prayers that I thought had gone unheard, or unanswered, when looking back were really answered in the best possible way and in the way that would in the long run be of the most benefit to me. Many of the greatest lessons I learned came from the hardships I endured, and brought me much closer to God than if things had of just been easy. The apostle Paul prayed three times for God to cure "a thorn in the flesh", but God told him...
2 Corinthians 12:7-10: "Therefore, that I might not feel overly exalted, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, an angel of Satan, to keep slapping me, that I might not be overly exalted. 8 In this behalf I three times entreated the Lord that it might depart from me; 9 and yet he really said to me: “My undeserved kindness is sufficient for you; for [my] power is being made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, will I rather boast as respects my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may like a tent remain over me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in cases of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful.

No, we just keep on preying. Then we kill a bull and burn it like in Leviticus. If that doesn't work we get a stone knife and find a human sacrifice. We will keep looking until we find something. Actually, we will keep doing things and the thing we do just before we get what we want will be reinforced and we will do more of it in the future to make more things happen. Superstition is frequently accidentally learned but it can be systematically taught.
And why would anyone want to do that?

Praying is good, get as many other people to pray as you can, the more people that pray the greater the chance of success. Not only because of religion, but because they are constantly thinking positive about that thing, looking out for new and better ways to help it.

could mean lots of things, just have to ask him personally.

As for my wife asking god's approval to marry her - I did a three day fast, and what did he say? - nothing.

He wanted me to obey - and just wait longer.

trust and faith. He hears your prays

God isn't real. If you want something go get it. Don't waste your breath on prayer. It doesn't work.
