No offense, really.. To anyone who might be offended on howi i posed my question, Im sorry, let me explain

Marriage, in its logical sense, is a legal arraingement. It has NOTHING to do with religion or Sanctity as G-dubb might say

To A christian like George Bush, How is two gay people getting married any different than two muslims getting married? both arent valid according to the christian religion. But this is America and there is something that seems to be rarely used called the separation of church and state. Its Discrimination in my opinion.

The only other reason i can think of for anyone to oppose gays is homophobia.. and thats so Ignorant!!!!!!!! Homosexuality is part of our DNA. God Forbid 1 in 10 of your kids kids are gonna be gay! Why else would the ratio be around 1 in 10.. If it were a "Disease" the ratio would be much lower.Compair it to real mental problems.. they are around 1 in 150..

The whole stint about Michael Richards is ridiculous. I don't like the fact that white people continue to bring up the fact the black rappers use this word all the time. I am Catholic and celebrate Christmas, but I would like to see diversity on tv. On Disney Channel, I have concluded that there is only 1 tv show where the family celebrates Channukah. The whole USA is not Catholic and I was wondering who else felt the same about this.

do Asians have any true friends? it seems like no other country or continent really like us for who we are. not many people notice us either, and if they do, they think we're all Chinese. especially the Blacks always calling us that just because of our eyes. the Whites are just racist, and the Spanish they don't like the Asians (is what i've heard).

seems like everyone is against the Asians because we look weird to you, our eyes are small (some countries in Asia), we speak another language that you people find funny, or is it that we're crazy geniuses?

Why do supposed 'straight' christians worry so much about what gay people are up to? If you are so worried that people are 'sinning' then aren't there about a million worse sins that people are commiting every day that you say nothing about?
Why don't you worry about the poor? Isn't a sin that society allows children to sleep in the streets? Why don't you consider war a sin? Doesn't your bible say 'thou shalt not kill'?
So, really, explain to me why so much time and effort is spent by self-righteous christians (yes, self-righteous, or did you forget that whole 'he without sin casting stones' idea?) condemning gay people?
Why does that particular law of Leviticus strike you as important? Why aren't you condemning people who lie with a woman while she is 'unclean'? Why aren't you stoning to death children who talk back to their parents, just like your scripture tells you?
How exactly is an act between consenting adults your problem? And why do you care about it so much?

I live in a rural area of Virginia. The suburbs of Northern Virginia are extending into my area and ruining everything! When those transplants from the north moved here, housing costs went way up. The average house went from being $60,000 to $200,000. It became impossible for the natives in my town to buy houses. My family ended up losing the farm and selling it to make room for tract housing. Besides housing, practically everything in town has become expensive. Luckily for the Yankees, they have tons of money from their jobs in D.C.; we dont. Also, my town's southern way of life is deteriorating. No one seems to have an accent anymore and no one is ever polite. Stores like American Eagle, Gucci, and Abercrombie and Fitch have moved to my area. The natives here have become twice as poor and the Yankees have become twice as rich. I guess soon ill be pronouncing Jersey as Joisey, too. What can I do to preserve my towns southern heritage and prevent northerns from ruining our lives?
