lol. what country are you from? judging by what you said --- "......they think we're all chinese" u cant be chinese. im korean. i understand you. every non asain people asks "are you chinese". that really gets on my nerves. im tired of listening to that. my friends complain to me about it all the time. omg i seriously want to beat them up if i ever hear that again. and the eye thing. we may have small eyes but they have no right to make fun of us. i dont understand blacks sometimes. im not racist against them(or any other race, im not racist) , but they always make fun of us and look lowly at us when they always say that they are looked down by caucasians. and our languages sound funny to other people cause its completey different. if you compare ebglish and asian languages, then of course the whites and blacks would think our language is funny.i honestly think that chinese sounds funny though. lol. i have to deal with racism all the time. i live in america and people are always making fun of us and looking down at us. ASAINS RULE!!!! i know plenty of people who just love asains. but i understand all the racism thats going around about asians and how much we have to endure. stay strong ok=) HAVE AN ASIAN PRIDE!!!

Who is everyone? You're making a generalization based on just your personal experiences and what you've heard? For me, a Black woman from the racist US, raised as a child in the 60's & 70's around different colored people, you were just a different colored person from me. Your eyes, hair (if you weren't biracial) and skin color were different than mine but that didn't bother me. All I was interested in was playing with you and having a good time.
I'm just speaking for me when I say I get along with everybody and I wouldn't have given a chit about you being Asian or Greek or whatever. That's the way my mom raised me but you get older and run into ignorant people who happen to be Asian, Greek, Latin, White and Black. That's the way of the world!
Deal or don't deal with em' and move on. Life is to precious to be wasting it on assholes!
PEACE!

okay, I don't know any whites who are racist towards Asians, if anything, they are at the bottom of the list..haha j/k! But seriously, I am white and my best friends is Asian. I totally respect the Asians who are understanding of their culture and not some white wash with no knowledge of why their family came to America or what significant events occured in their culture. I love the Asian culture. It just makes me sad to see when any race chooses to change who they are to become what they think others will like them for. For example, how ridiculous does it look when a white guy tries to act black? or when an Asian, with a heavy Vietnemese accent tries to rap....its just not who they are...everyone needs to embrace the culutre they were born into and learn as much as possible about it so that their children may pass down the traditions for years to come...anyways; I'm polish/czech and am marrying and Italian, even though we are both white we have much to learn about each others cultures and it's exciting.
By the way, stereotyping has to come from somewhere...one person sees something, then another and another, and if the pattern grows into a commonality then v-wa-la...a stereotype is born. Asians can't drive, blondes are dumb, italians have high tempers, all blacks are in gangs....hey, don't take things so personally, i cannot even tell you how many times i almost cried when the color of my hair defined me; however, i accept the challenge of proving people wrong.....even though every now and then they are right! ;0) Anyways, as far as no one noticing you...that can be a very good thing...did you know Asians are considered the ideal American? Seriously, look it up in history books and things....even after the Japanese camps here in America, the Asians didn't put up as many riots and protests as the blacks...the quiet, polite personalities of Asians are sought after by many cultures.
In conclusion, Asians are okay.............
(well, some are anyway.) heehee :0)

Huh? looks to me that Asians are the most-respected and maximum tolerated minority crew in this usa. Non minority human beings also have a tendency to work out Asians because the suited-searching of each of the minority communities. I absolutely have truly some Asian associates, and it truly is what i have heard from them... i'd quite have someone make relaxing of my language and my looks and be jealous of my fulfillment, than have them evaluate me stupid, criminal, and ugly (that is the way Black human beings are seen contained in the US).

I am insulted. I am white and have lived in this country for generations, yet my closest frieds have usually been asian. When I was young I did have Chinese friends, and that is what is prevalent in the West. Growing up though, my friends were primarily Hmong. They are still my closest friends. I had some Lao and Thai friends too. Don't assume that nobody cares just because you haven't found them yet.

I'm first generation Nigerian-American. My family is strict and excelling is a top prority. My very good friend is Vietnamese. I have no problem with Asians as long as they genuinely like me and are open-minded. I can't tell you how many times I've met Asians who pretended to like me, but in actuality looked down on me and hated Black people. I don't like going in their stores, because they so obviously act like I'm a criminal. It hurts my feelings. I love everyone, and you guys are very intellegent people with a very interesting culture. But most of the Asians I've seen don't like us. I even saw an Asian woman today talking trash about Black people in her language. You don't have to understand to know what people are saying sometimes. The kid looked scared and we were harmless. Look, as long as you are real, I'll love ya back.

I'm from Australia (which is kind of a part of Asia... but not really). My parents are both fully bloody anglo-saxon white aussies and neither them or myself have any kind of negative feelings towards anyone asian. When I was younger my dad used to take me to Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamise, Indian etc restaurants. Last year I spent some time in Thailand and it was one of the most amazing and enriching experiences of my life. One of my mums best friends is also white/aussie but is married to a Malaysian man. Both of our families are really close and we love going to his house for the warm company and amazing food!

If you refer to "Asian" in the US it could be people everywhere from Asia including the Indian, Pakistan etc too..so you had to be more specific there and meant only people from the far east.
