I turned 40 yesterday. If you are like me then retro means I wear what I wore to my last party. Which was about 20 years ago. Wear something 80's. Member's Only jacket, knit tie, leather tie, leg warmers, oxford and sweather pink and green. Alot of hair spray.

Sooo Kool! Could it mean the same thing that retro means for straight people. Ya know, 50's, stuff like that? Is it costumes?

But what did gay people look like in 1950's repressive culture? Liberace. It would be tough, they were mostly still in the closet. A Nerd would be good.

It means vintage, throw-back, sixties or anything not "now". you should wear some 80's ish outfit, or something from the 60's or 70's. then make it gay.
