Quiet people are like Mt. St. Helens... calm, with seemingly nothing going on, and then suddenly, when everyone least expects it... BANG. Off they go in a chaotic rage.

Cause quiet people tend to set around and take other peoples crap until they can't take it anymore and just finally blow up all at once. Yes I really believe it's true. I used to be shy and quiet and had a really bad temper that I couldn't control when I got really mad, but now I've learned to just speak my mind and I can control my temper much better most of time now.

Well to begin with..it can never be concluded to be true because you hardly ever can assume something is ALWAYS true or NEVER true with out employing a stereotype which are almost never true. lol. But I think that where this comes from is simply that you cant tell what they are thinking essentially, because they dont tell you. That is actually a foolish assumption because the loud, open and vocal people can pull the wool over your eyes and establish a false trust....My answer in a nutshell? nope.

I believe that it is not true. They only have in their mind that quite people are unfriendly, and hence harmful. However, the truth is, many people are quiet in certain situations, such as studying, working, etc, and are "childish" in other scenarios such as recreation, family outing, hanging out with friends. That's why we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

quiet people think alot. You really can't get to know someone but only by what comes out of their mouth and their actions.. and i guess they're gestures sometimes. But a quiet person is very mysterious.. you never know whats going on in their head!

I'm generally quiet because I think a lot (even if I'm just daydreaming), I can't be bothered to talk or because I'm too tired. Besides I don't like talking to more than one person.

yes... if someone who never shuts up, tells you that you're annoying or self centered, you can brush it off, because this person says anything that ever crosses their mind.

however, if a generally quiet person says something like that... you gotta figure that you must be really annoying or self centered for them to take one of their precious moments of speech and use it on insulting you.
