Do you think God wants you to worship him, or do you think Man kind (religious organizations) wants you to?
What proof is there that he does, without using any Bible, Holy Scriptures, doctrine, sacred writings, or testament that was written by man, but inspired by God (That is what they tell us anyway "inspired by god").

If you are secure enough in your faith to make a joke about it could you post one? Try to keep it clean and relatively short.

( Im not a practising Christain , but i tell you that the bible has some pretty good advice on how to live your life, and enjoy it to the fullest, especially proverbs)

Do you see it as an invasion of privacy? Or is it a good way of spreading the message? Perhaps it depends on the manner in which it is done?

Your thoughts?

I disagree. Some of us don't.

would you start a relationship with someone who didn't have anything going for themselves or do they have to at least have some income, a car or house something that you can also benefit from.

I mean I've heard people say he ain't got nothing why would I want him.

when you met someone do you tell them about all your material possessions and income thinking that that'll make them want to be with you in a relationship?

Me personally I'm willing to help the person build themselves up as long as I don't feel i'm being taken advantage of and I wouldn't want to do that to anyone else. I've actually turned down guys who told me about all the nice things and money they had thinking that'll win me over.

hello i have to write an assingment on: how accurate is it to describe hinduism as a polythestic religion.

for the essay im thinking of looking at the hindu religion itself, with a brief comparison to christianity. i will study the main gods- the 3 gods of the trinity- brahama, vishnu and shiva, n the mother goddess shakti or dara. the many gods that they worship will help understand the polythestic part.

i was then going to look at arguements of it being polythestic or not, look at both sides.

wat else do i need to include tho? is looking at the main gods enough to show it as polythestic? ne other ideas? wat about the vedas do they need to be included?

please help

thanks

emma

It matters whats going in the heart of the individual..So if a married man or woman masturbates while thinking of each other is that wrong. There are time when couple cant be together for whatever reason...Is this ok or no?

I am an atheist who married my wife, who is a Christian, in a church. That was what she wanted, so I don't have a problem with it. A lie? No. The pastor marrying us knew I was an atheist. He asked a lot of questions, but he was willing to perform the ceremony. I still plan to be married to her and stick by her for our entire lifetime according to our vows, and I still hold my marriage as something to be cherished of of the highest importance in my life. We have a great marriage and have been married for nearly 4 years now.

I also celebrate Christmas, by the way. It's one of my favorite holidays. I celebrate it because it is a time to be around your family, to exchange gifts, and to show each other that you care for one another. It is a fun and happy family time, with or without religion.

So you see, it is possible for us all the get along. The religious, and the not, that is. What are your opinions about this?

I've heard that some schools do not allow anymore Xmas parties because it's offensive to non-christian students and parents... I guess that's because they don't like the "Jesus-Mary-Joseph" thing :p
