Well, there are the basics..

Lots and lots of water, above all else, dehydration is what causes the headache associated with a hangover.

May not sound great, but a early morning bloody mary will cure the spins and wooziness.

Last but not least, something nice and greasy, like a piece of pizza, or a hamburger. Grease, for whatever reason will calm your stomach down after it's been abused with alcohol.

Prevention is better than cure so drink less. If you cannot control yourself then drink a pint of water before going to bed and drink another when you wake up and keep on drinking water for the rest of the day.
The hangover headache is cause by the dehydration of the brain so drinking water will stop this problem and low and behold, no headache.

Drink plenty of water on the days your going out for the big booze ups, make sure you have something to eat for your tea those nights too and before you go to bed try and drink a pint of water, been dehydrated causes hangovers, keep up your fluid intake during the day and you should be fine, have a good time.

A big glass of water and a multi vitamin before bed. Then another glass of water, two paracetamol and a banana when you first wake up (put them by your bed the night before). Back to sleep for a bit. Then scrambled eggs on toast and orange juice, a long hot shower, and you'll be right as rain. Works for me every time. Have a good party season!

Mike is correct. Drink a full glass of water before consuming alcohol to prevent a hangover. All the other recommendations are to ease the pain after your hangover starts. If you do have one, then the best remedy is actally sleep.

Drink sensibly and you won't have a hangover!

But if you do, drink lots of water before you go to sleep and, in the morning, a portion of fresh raw oysters--the little Olympia ones if they are available--will have you feeling back to normal within half an hour.

Never again! Repeated at least four times before you leave the house in the evening. When you get home, if you can find the cold water tap, drink as much water as you have room for. The addition of a couple of Alka-Seltzers wouldn't go amiss.

salt believe it or not.

BLTs are one of the best hangover cures, along with aspirin, and weed.

Also, if you eat through out the whole time you are drinking and then you drink a big cup of water that night, you wont have one the next day.

Don't drink to excess and avoid the hangover entirely. You may even remember more of the good time you had at the party if you don't drink to excess.
