Do you think God wants you to worship him, or do you think Man kind (religious organizations) wants you to?
What proof is there that he does, without using any Bible, Holy Scriptures, doctrine, sacred writings, or testament that was written by man, but inspired by God (That is what they tell us anyway "inspired by god").

Sho-Nuff; You're right. They want your money, they get right to the point. Hey, at least they're honest about that part.

As of my writing, there hasn't even been a single lame attempt at answering "why" the creator of the universe would suffer from the kind of narcissism and vanity we deplore in humans. I read where people WANT to worship him, but that's nothing to to with the question.
If people just stepped back from their unexamined obsessions for a minute they would realize the the Abrahamic god is modeled directly on the image of a petty, vain, cruel tyrant - just the kind the writers were like to encounter in their primitive existence. Imagine needing to be "adored," "sung to" unconditionally obeyed (on pain of eternal suffering), with 100% loyalty. Actually, we STILL have some of those desert tyrants around. And, oh yeah, they "love their people."

Without quoting any religious non-sense. It can be categorically stated that this "god" you talk of, does not want any worship and does not even exist. These self procalimed 'holy books' bible, koran etc are a product of man kind. (why cant people see that while they waste their life "praying" to a non-existant entity?)Supernatural forces or "gods" DO NOT write, publish and print books of any kind. Its all man made people... its just a story that was written by man.
Unless "god" has got some holy fax machine then i'd say that man kind has made up all this religious superstition for his own ends.

All mankind worships something or someone. When you have a relationship with someone there is an aspect in the relationship which is "worship or adoration". Where do you think this might have come from? Do you think that G-d might not want what anyone in a relationship might want as well. Talk to those who do worship Him and realize that there is proof of the benefits of worship as is outlined in scripture which is G-d breathed (inspired by G-d).

Worshiping is nothing but respecting your creator. A person who goes to a church physically and prays is considered as religious and worrshipful. A person may not go to a religioushouse to pray yet by following the religious doctrines, he is also worshiping. So physical presence in a religious house is not the criteria to worship not to worship. A blank mind in a religious place and always thinking of god and following while at work are two disticnt examples .

God has placed in each man a desire to know Him and an innate knowldge of Him (like an adopted child searching fro their biological roots). You get to choose what to worship whether it be the wooden idols of primitive societies or the gods of money, success and material possessions of so-called sophisticated societies. If you had great parents, would you be thankful for them? If you knew God, you wouldn't be asking this question.

Let's assume you believe in God. God is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, ect. When man knows such a person they will instinctively worship them. This being the case if man truly knows God they will worship Him. So logically God would want man to worship him because that would necessitate knowing Him. I worship God because I know Him and what he has done in my life.

God wants our worship or else a person would not feel awe as a child emerged from its mothers womb. A person would not feel peace as the sun set gently over October leaves. A person would not find their heart leap in joy over the approach of a lover or a rainbow. Tears would not be shed as a casket was lowered in the grave. And as history has repeatedly show, heads would swell to the point of abusing others.

I do not worry about the money issue, I tithe with my talents and my answering of questions. As for worshipping, I think of it like this...I would like for my children to be thankful for what they get and for the sacrifices I have made during my life for them. I do not expect them to worship me but I appreciate their acknowledging their respect and love for me.

I have to wonder about the self-esteem of any deity that demands worship, or be thrown into the fiery pits of hell for all eternity.
Even if g-d did exist, why should I worship him? Or her? Or them?
Are they really that insecure that they need constant grovelling and reassurance that they are great?

The desire to worship GOD is inherint all beings. To truly worship we must be in touch with our spiritual self which obviously you are not. Hence the stupid question. Try it. Youll never give it up.
