Have you ever sent in some cash or checks or whatever besides hands on the television prayers?

Seems like they have to put on robes and slippers before they can get a drink of water, check on their sleeping kids or even drink coffee in the morning. It seemed rampant in old black and white films...even heels on the women's slippers. Do you wear either around the house?

I have read a lot of Christians on here saying that Jesus' only rule was about loving your neighbour and what not. Isn't that a little vague? Do you think that leaves a little too much room for interpretation?

Should religious rules be better defined?

If a woman is wearing tight clothing, or has a low cut shirt, or has low rider pants which ride up to show her thong ("Whale Tail")when she bends over? Does a girl have any legitimate reason to complain about staring - or should she just accept that, if she shows it, men will look?

Okay.... My question is: Does the worship of Jesus vary among the sects of christianity? I hear the son of God, I hear the father and son are one (the same being) I hear the father the son and the holy spirit are all the same being, I hear that Jesus is God in the flesh, here on earth to experience human suffering. Does it just vary from sect to sect or am I missing something?

Is it true that the rewards in Heaven are MUCH better than the rewards a rich person gets for their hard work and would the rewards in Heaven be the same as the rewards a rich person gets for their hard work or are the rewards in Heaven much better?

I need some ideas. I'm almost done, but need one more thing about $100. Please no gift certs for spas or ballooning or sex. And no Victoria Secret stuff. We are in our 30s and have 2 kids. Okay I don't mean to sound racist or mean but
I really love emo guys. But I've noticed that alot of emo guys I know really digs black girls.
Even though they might be friggin gay or bisexual or whatever. But yeah, do they not even see THAT IM MADLY IN LOVE WITH THEM?? And they want black girls?
I've been noticing this much from alot of them lately. I am not racist. I'm just hurt :(

What would happen if "they" tried to kill him.?? WOUld there be a new religious war?

Do you think that : "if they did try to kill him, they would prove what pope benedictine said was true?"

The pope only quoted what benedictine said, he never said that he agreed with that. Is that why "they" want to kill him??

We are in Chapter 13 (filed six months BEFORE Katrina) and had insufficient insurance for our damages. We don't qualify for ANY loans of any type because of our Chapter 13. We didn't qualify for Federal or State help because we had "some" insurance (the money helped pay for our living expenses and removed the 180 foot tree (but NOT the trunk--that was another $800 dollars) off our cars and out of the building...Eighteen months later, we have one-third of our (2100 square feet) building still GONE (including the 4th wall, roof section, etc.), gaping open to all (we've been robbed twice), and leaning several degrees on two different axis/directions. We desperately need HELP (building materials and labor) to repair/save our building. We are in our mid- fifties and this isn't a job my husband and I can do, even if we had the materials. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Thank you and God Bless!

I recently had a very interesting conversation with a friend of mine who is Agnostic. I was raised in church and am Catholic. He was not trying to change my beliefs but I am open minded and though I completely believe in God- I would like to understand his arguments better. He told me his favorite author was Frederick Nietzsche so I read up on some of his philosophies but I still have many questions. I'M NOT CONVERTING, Just learning. I was raised a Jehovah Witness as a child and had so much anger towards my mother when I found out that I had been cheated a Christian lifestyle. I realize now that I was brain washed as so many of them are. I still don't know where the religion came from or find something to show my mother. My church gave me some brochures but I really need a website or something. I feel sorry for my mother who has lost 30 years to this and is always depressed and sad. She deserves more in life and it is such a challenge to talk to her about anything. I want to send her a link so that she can look privately without admitting to me that she did-to find the REAL truth.

I was wondering if there is anyone who is into biblical studies that is in need of accountability and just wants to talk to someone about bible. I am a sophomore at columbia international university and am majoring in Biblical Theology and Biblical Languages and would love to talk to someone concerning anything relating to the bible.
