If a woman is wearing tight clothing, or has a low cut shirt, or has low rider pants which ride up to show her thong ("Whale Tail")when she bends over? Does a girl have any legitimate reason to complain about staring - or should she just accept that, if she shows it, men will look?

I think it is ok to stare...these chicks must WANT U to stare..otherwise, they would cover their stuff up more..so keep staring as long as they are willing to give a peek of the goods:)

If a woman is dressed oh-so-provocatively she IS looking for attention. However a discreet appreciative glance or two is worlds away from the commenting, whistling, howling cacophony that occasionally erupts from an otherwise mild mannered man at the sight of a daringly low decollete. Just because a woman wants fellas to check her out does not mean she wants to be followed for three blocks by a gaggle of frat boys inviting strangers to "check that a**" and occasionally treating passers by to a monologue concerning several ill concealed sexual innuendos and six of the seven words you can't say on television.

I will only listen to the opinion of a female on this subject that truely believes she can avert her eyes if Brad Pitt floped his dong out 2 feet infront of her face!

Any woman wearing clothing that reveals body in a sexual manner is advertising.

We are all animals. No matter how smart some idiots think we are!

Well I understand your point, but staring is aggressive and rude. Sometimes people don't know exactly how much they are showing. I am against staring as a woman. My husband has another angle - he says if someone is dressing provocatively for attention, he's not going to reward their behavior by gawking. So either way, not staring is the way to go I think.

In the Czech Republic, young ladies often like to show their bodies off and it is considered impolite not to look.

she should expect men to stare, but as a man I would suggest to show restraint and will power not to stare, I believe that only the man of mans can do that, self control is what sets gentlemen apart from adult boys, and will be much appreciated by the women

If she is going to flaunt it, she should expect stares. Allowing your underwear to show is tacky for both men and women.

Treat people the way that you would want to be treated. If you are making someone feel awkward, then get a new hobby. Also, ask yourself if that is something that you would want to happen to your mother, sister, or someone that you love.
I say.....show respect and respect will be given to you :-)

I think that anyone with anything hanging out KNOWS it's hanging out, so you can assume they want you to look. However, don't stare; try to at least be a little discreet. Oh, and anyone who lets their underwear hang out is pretty skanky, so look but don't touch.
