I grew up in a Catholic home, church going every sunday, babtised before I saw the truth. Yet, it seems that it is a must to confess to a priest or ones soul is tainted. Is this a form of fear tactic used by Catholics to keep the sheep in place.

Did God ever choose his character or his moral standards? Does God ever know what it is to make a choice? If he has perfect foreknowlege of everything, then it stands to reason that there are no choices for him to make.

I know we have a history so full of mistakes. We need to judge a person by their character instead of their skin color (MLK). Please, lets change the future with color blindness.

That's what the invitation suggests:

My wife is buying herself a nice dress and shoes, and stuff....

I want to wear new black 501s, and new brown work boots.

She's trying to make me go buy slacks, nice button up shirt, and black shoes.

This is for a Company Christmas party at the Flamingo Hotel.

I'm trying to tell her it will be fine wearing work boots!! They're new for crying out loud!!

Who's right here??

why do indians show lust not love?
why cant indians follow Mahatma Gandhi and prevent AIDS?

Mahatma Gandhi "felt it his personal obligation to remain celibate so that he could learn to love, rather than lust" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahatma_Gandhi).

It seems that you must Obey God to go to the Kingdom of Heaven. So what does that mean as far as free will? It's not much of free will, but more of a choice between eternal damnation or forever salvation. Salvation through fear and submission.

Earlier i received replies that some muslim leaders(not all) have issued fatwas for the death of infidels.

As a muslim leaders, they represent the face of Islam and they must have had support of many muslims to become leaders.

As a muslim, you have to follow the Fatwas. If you do not follow then you are sinning.

I am an unbeliever and thus i am regarded an infidel. Will you kill me when i have done you no harm and wished you well ?

A simple yes or no would suffice

In America, it is becoming difficult to be a white person in our cities. There are specialized scholarships for minorities and Affirmative Action guarantees school positions and work positions for minorities, even if that means putting a white person out of work. Preferential treatment is given to minorities every day, and the "white man" is blamed for every problem minorities have. The white person isn't allowed to be proud of his or her heritage, because that's racist, but it's ok for a black person to have their days or weeks (or even months) dedicated to their history without repercussion. I'm proud of my heritage, but I have to keep that to myself? How come a black man can murder a white man, and it'd be called "murder" and the likelihood for parole is given, but a white man kills a black man and it's called a "hate crime" and there's never a possibility for parole thereafter? In my opinion, BOTH murderers should be given NO possibility for parole. So? What do you think?

I am susposed to get confirmed this year, but I really don't want to. I feel that I don't support, mostly all of the church's views, including abortion, and stem cell research and gay people. I wanted to belong to the Religious Society of Friends, since they are more accepting of all, but how do I tell my parents?
