I don't wanna spend too much money on 40 girls, but what would be a cute little something to give to them for Christmas?

What about baking something and really making the presentation pretty with colorful cellophane paper (the one you wrap baskets with?). Then tie it up with pretty colorful bows. Attach a little colorful note that wishes them a good holiday and how much you appreciate their friendship.
Maybe a little basket of popcorn balls, each a different color?
(the ones where you add foodcoloring)
Or maybe cute-looking gingerbread men?
Yes, this is time-consuming but it will save you money.
Buy the presentation stuff (paper, ribbons) at dollar store type of places.
Or instead, how about a nice candle for each friend (dollarstores have cool ones) and concentrate on the presentation by wrapping it with ribbons.
Don't wrap it, since its a small simple gift. Just hand it to them and say "I got a little something for all my friends....Merry Christmas."

One year, my brother-in-law gave all of us girls in the family those little dress-up toys you can buy at the dollar store. We all loved it and thought it was the cutest gift ever since we knew he didn't have much money to spend on frivolous things.

make some fudge and put it in little containers ( I like to use the Gladware sandwich size)...put a pretty bow on it and voila. Fudge is an easy/inexpensive thing to do.....I usually use the recipe on the back of the marshmallow fluff jar, and it tastes pretty good. I give it to all our neighbors, and the kids teachers...everyone LOVES it.

you didn't say how old you are, but i used to do this for stocking stuffers and they always went over great, perfume samples, you can get them at the fancy dept stores. they usually have plenty, you just have to ask, hit all the perfume counters at dept stores at a mall or two, and you should be set!!!!
and don't forget the chocolate oranges!!!!! and hershey hugs!!!!

go to the dollar store and make your own little gift baskets... shampoo,body wash,hairspray etc. add candles to it . just a cheap suggestion good luck and happy holidays

I agree with tambratt...go buy some little stockings and fill them with lip gloss, body lotion, etc...whatever you would like they would like! They'll love it!

one year i did pac sun socks and little lip glosses to go with it! my friends loved it!! some even did it the next year!!
