Isn’t it incumbent for the giver of a gift to be responsible for whom he gives that gift? And isn’t the giver of a gift blameworthy if he gives gifts to those whom he knows will abuse those gifts? Should we make drugs available to 8 year olds and alcohol available to 6 year olds? Would you give a razor blade to a two year old?

My three best friends and I have teamed up with another group of 4 girls for a Christmas gift exchange. We drew names out of a hat, and I got someone from the other group, Rose. I have known her since second grade and we're pretty good friends but not BEST friends. What should I get her?

There is a price limit of $25 for this exchange.
She's not much of a jewelry/makeup kind of girl
She plays volleyball.

I love the computer I love getting e-mails I love posting and getting answers on this site the computer gives me a sense of security that I am loved and accepted when people write me and when they respond.

But sometimes at work I spend a little too much time on the computer and I think people are starting to notice. All my work is timely and done well but when it is not busy I tend to e-mail.
I am allowed so long as I don't abuse it.

To say everyone does it or takes cigarette breaks or talks in the office is a poor excuse because I am a christian and I want to be a light.

What are ways that I could displine myself to either limit my computer time properly and prudently or how can I just stay off yahoo all together when I am at work? I dont want to be a hyprocrite but there are times when work is very slow.

Any godly practical suggestions? Thank you and God bless you

Pardon the pun. What makes people so sure that the ideas in the Bible were God's ideas.? When people wrote the Bible and thought up all of the ideas, weren't they essentially disrespecting God? They basically decided upon a set of ideas and then said they were God's. How did they know what he was thinking? If God supposedly came to them and told them what to say, then why doesn't he come to us? What made the other people so special? These are questions I ponder.

he was in an automobile accident friday morrning on his way to work. the doctors are not giving us any hope. i know that with faith and prayers that GOD can turn this arround. i need every prayer for him that GODs will will be done. please all cristians and non cristians alike. pray for my husband.

I've heard that Allah was the moon god, where did this come from? The qu'ran does fit the description of the antiChrist- the qu'ran denies that Jesus is the Christ and Lord, and denies that Jesus suffered in the flesh, those are the descriptions of the antiChrist. All the qu'ran says about Jesus is that he wasn't crucified and lived afterwards, and there wasn't anything particularly divine about Him. But for what reason do they think Allah is the moon god?
