"origin" is easy -- we evolved like all other life on this planet, by the process of natural selection over billions of years. No supernatural intervention, no mythical gods involved. There is enough evidence for that origin of human life for it to be considered fact.
Now "purpose" -- who says there has to be a purpose? The only "purpose" for any individual organism in evolutionary biology is to live long enough to reproduce and continue the species. However, humans who have evolved brains complex enough to ponder their existence often do want to know if there's a purpose for life...
Biologically, not really. But with your large brain, you can make whatever purpose you want *your* purpose for life, and live your life accordingly. My purpose is to live every minute to the fullest, to learn as much as possible while I'm alive, and to give my children a better life than I had (and pass along my knowledge to them as much as possible). I think that's a great purpose -- yours may be different :)
Peace.

The origin is unknown. It is true the earth could have been seeded by bacteria from space. Personally I think the universe and space is full of life. It's possible even space itself is full of miscopic life so small we haven't the means to see them. We just don't know it all yet.
Life in my opinion doesn't have a purpose other than to spread which rather than a planned effort is survival effort. I think life will happen if given the right circumstances. As it did on earth.I think life is all over the universe and has to happen if conditions are right.

The answer to your question is quite easy our origin according to Genesis 1:26, we were created by God, and according to Ecclesiates 12:13 our purpose is to fear (reverence) God and to keep His commandments.

Origin - God
Purpose - To eat, drink, and be merry. Also to have adventure and experience the wonder of discovering something new. After having seen it all, to relearn it all over again with our rebirth.
