The general ethos of Gandhi was good.

However it was unpractical, unpragmatic, overly idealistic and extremely Utopian. Gandhi was only concerned about his place in history and not about the future of his Hindu race.

His obsession with idealism and his refusal to think logically have destroyed our country. It was Gandhi that stopped millions of Muslims leaving India when they should have (in 1947). As a result our country is in shambles. We have 120 million Muslim people that do not have a right to even a drop of Indian water!

It is good that Gandhi's teachings aren't observed. If it was up to Gandhi, we would all be turned into sheep or mice. He has betrayed his race and I hope to god that he is rotting in hell for his betrayal!

Mahatma Gandhi did not bring anything new. All that he preached already exist in Indian culture. It is all taught to be out dated culture by the convents schools so people were giving up the old ways. Gandhi revived it by practising those himself and because of politics he got wide publicity

Western people have transformed Indians to shift their paradaigm. who said indians show only lust? Ofcouse...any human show lust. otherwise the world would not exist.

But think of India...It has many religions. Like Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian..etc., all are living togehter with great Love integrity, loving their religion and respecting other religions too.

If they do not love each other, there would have murders.

As far as following Mahatma Gandhi.....it all depends on person to person. He got motivated by himself. That's why he is Mahatma... But others did not get motivated.

Remaining celibate is against the nature of the very creation. And i am not sure if you can associate 'having sex' with lust.

And, remaining celibate to experience love was Gandhi's approach. That requires lot of mental strength. It will be unfair to expect that quality from all the people, just because he had the strength of character.

Every individual is different.
