I'm a 31 year old guy who moved back home 2 years ago to finish school. I'm a junior..and i still have 2 years left..and possibly law school or getting my masters and teaching. All my friends are married..and albeit..one of them is unhappy, and the other divorced already. One lives on his own still. Does it matter so much that you live on your own? I mean..i have had dates in which..go so far until the reality that i am at home...disturbes them so much that they are no longer interested. And i find that even dating is a challenge because i am not on my own, but living at home. Is this nornal? And if so, does this help confirm societal change of becoming more and more about "what one has, and what one can offer" rather than who the person is..rather than who he is not? Serious answers please. I would love to hear intelligently from as many of you as possible!

Before you report me, i am not trying to sell you anything.
I wrote a book, the first edition is gone, so i could not sell it to you even if i wanted to.
What i need your help with is. I am developing a site, well it's more of a blog. What i need is a review of a site 'sort of'.
The site is not a money making thing, it's just something that is unfolding.
Thank you for your help.

My site is http://distantbabylon.tripod.com

"The highest history of the American revolution is this: It connected in ONE INDISSOLUABLE BOND the principles of civil government with the principles of CHRISTIANITY". -- John Adam - 2nd President of the U S.

So why should we believe clueless atheists that are trying to convince us otherwise?

I choose to believe John Adams and reject the atheists who are trying to re-write history to suit their own selfish agenda.

It amazing me the legth to which atheists will go to to try to deceive the American public.

which came first: the chicken or the egg?
and also, if the chicken came first, do you think it crossed the road before or after laying another egg?

Does anyone know why the reformation took place? It could be religious causes , economic causes and cultural causes

There would never have been a publication of Howl ever released in North America. In banning speech, you are banning art. Think about that. Kruschev placed the best artists of the sixties and seventies into institutions and banned their material for not reflecting the Soviet policy of 'socialist realism' in culture. He couldn't handle abstraction and surrealism. Too vague for him. If you hate freedom, I guess you must love Kristelnacht.

Would you tell me there wasn't a teapot?

Would you tell me it was nonsense, although you do believe there is a teapot out there somewhere?

Or would you tell me there are three? The big teapot, the little teapot, and the teapot made of toast.

Think about it. It's Atheism, Agnosticism, and Christianity.

I am a solo female traveller in the process of booking a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo for December 06. I intend to fly into Rwanda then cross over into the DRC.

The thing is that I just like adventure and holidays which are out of the ordinary but 2 people today asked me why I was going to the DRC and Rwanda.. they seemed to think that I want to die.I was unable to offer a reason as to why I want to go there other than "well they are there"... which didn't help my cause.

Aside from telling people on this site [whom I don't know] I have decided not to tell anyonelse that I'm going now as I think it throws people...

I don't understand this at all. If I said that I hated country music (which I do, btw) then no one would care. But as soon as I even imply that I don't like gospel, then everyone is like "OMG U GO 2 HELL!1!"

Wtf...? Is it my fault that the lyrics are cheesy and the music sucks? Just my opinion, Christians. I don't get pissy when you don't like something I listen to.
