Who are we humans to decide what is true and what is not true? God knows better. A lie that builds can be truer than a truth that has actually lost its validity...
This is especially true of human relationships. Sometimes so-called "true" feelings turn out to be fake and selfish, later on. Or the person who felt them will be betrayed by another. Where is the truth there, then? Should the betrayed one suffer for eternity for an imaginary truth that never existed??? Of course not.
God knows better, follow his path and you won't be mistaken, ever. :)
