Would you tell me there wasn't a teapot?

Would you tell me it was nonsense, although you do believe there is a teapot out there somewhere?

Or would you tell me there are three? The big teapot, the little teapot, and the teapot made of toast.

Think about it. It's Atheism, Agnosticism, and Christianity.

Or would you say that the teapot talks to you, and tells you to follow it. Like Austen A.

I might take the Humanist view and ask what is your evidence of an orbiting teapot and how does it benefit mankind.

I would say you seem to be quite the Russell fan :) This is a very good point though. If a claim is too difficult or impossible to provide evidence for, it does not mean it is true by default just because it can't be disproven. There could be a teapot out there, but nobody knows. However if the bulk of evidence we do have makes that teapot's existence improbable, (IE: we know there is a lot of debris flying around out there, a china tea pot wouldn't stand a chance) the correct position is not to dismiss it outright, but to consider it with a high level of skepticism.

Then i might say to you. Darwinism is in basic terms a philosophical theory that's no diverse than faith in an greater being different than for one particular factor. Darwinism has faith that a lacking hyperlink would be got here upon. Christianity's hyperlink has already been modern in Jesus of Nazareth. faith in a China teapot revolving around the sunlight is a baseless fact mutually as Theists are greater based in a concrete shown fact that we've been advised approximately God throughout the time of history. in case you may hyperlink me to a e book written a while in the past that speaks approximately destiny activities in the previous they ensue traditionally, and this e book is from the place you have based your teapot fact, then i might evaluate it correct to the communicate. If not than, it rather is beside the point to the thesis of this debate and based in unfounded argument. I so make Richard Dawkins seem as he's. An argumentative fool who has no theory of rational psychological concept. because of the fact his total argument is a faith in no faith. He has faith that technology will sooner or later teach his theories and anti-theist positions. ;)

Good analogy, except for the last part. We Christians believe in one God (teapot) in three persons. It's hard to grasp, I know, but that's why we call it a mystery.

I would do none of the above. I'd say (according to the analogy) that there is one teapot.

God Bless.

I would say that there is a teapot because I am galaxygirl and I've personally sat in the curve of the spout many times and caught a ride on my way to Xanadu...........

I would remind you that my creator made everything, including your teapot and to quit wasting time.

Do you know what they say about idle hands?

Belief in God and faith are more than just uneducated guesses.

I believe in God because he tells me through the spirit that he exists - it's an actual feeling, not just reading the bible, weighing the options, and saying "that one sounds cool" or "I hope this one is right." This question isn't relevant.

I guess I would ask you how you came to know about the tea pot and can you show me how to find it.

Since the question essentially is "What if .." etc ... the answer is ..
- I would find it very, very hard to care even less than I already do what you, or anyone else "thinks" [sic] on this "subject".
