Well hard to say but they are black.I also see alot of mexicans that look native american.Native Americans are Asian,Thus making many mexicans Asian.

True Latins come from Central Italy. They originated form Latium now Lazio or Latina Italy. Sicily is actually an island off the South West coast of Italy.
Just google Latina Italy and Rome which is north of Latina was the strongest Latin Tribe.

Being part black does not make you black! People need to stop with that "one drop rule". A person is the race of their mother and their father. If a mulatto person wants to be considered black then call them black, if they want to be known as mulatto or mixed call them mixed or mulatto.

You are the second Sicilian I've seen that has a real prejudice against blacks.
Mulattos are mixed-race people and this word has a meaning beyond "black." Why doesn't being part white make you white?
Anyway, in this day and age, each person gets to decide which race they think they fit into best. It's really none of my business, nor is it any of yours. Get over skin color, and start looking at people for their good qualities. Such as open-mindedness and a sense of humor.

Latin it's the short name of Latin-americans, people whose languages come from latin. People who speak Spanish or Portuguese and they are from America (I mean South and Centre America). Personaly I prefer call them Iberoamericans.
Why people from USA are call themselves Americans? If Americans are people from Cuba; Mexico, Argentinia or Canada too.

You can't say that if someone looks black they are black. That's not how it works. And if you have one-one hundreth black in you, you aren't black. All that stuff about contaminating the race is stupid.

because latinos y latinas refers to society's ethnic grouping of those of Spanish or Hispanic descent, not the historical Latins of italy. which are technically italians. why don't we just call ppl people and end all these "group names".

They are black.It's just easier for people to catogerize them as latin,even though they're really not.
