should people who can not procreate be allowed to marry?
Should every female have a fertility test to determine her ability to bear children...and males a sperm count?
Should we deny marriage to those who are past their child bearing years?
Should a perscription for viagra nullify the marriage contract?
Your thoughts....

As the LGBT community has fought for years to come from the closet, now once out, they are fighting to gain the rights of human dignity.
Years later, we face the tragic fact that the LGBT community is still not free. Years later, the LGBT community is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. Years later, the LGBT community lives on a lonely island of unacceptance in the midst of a vast ocean of discrimination. Years later, the LGBT community is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds themself an exile in there own land.
So we should go to our nation's election polls to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the words of the Constitution and the declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It is obvious today this has been defaulted upon, this promissory note insofar as the citizens of the LGBT community are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, Society has given the LGBT people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." We refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation, where we work and contribute to society. We should go cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. It is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of equal rights. Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of America’s children (as we are all gods children). Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of LGBT injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
It would be wrong for the nation to overlook the moment.
My friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I also have a dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men/women are created equal." .
I also have a dream today.
I have a dream that our partners and family will be protected with the same equal rights of marriage. I have a dream that our unions be recognized. I have a dream people can see that even we are capable of love, although we are a minority. I have a dream of no more hate crimes. I have a dream that we shall be not be judged, by race, sex, religion on sexual orientation. I have a dream we can all be equal. I have a dream that our cries in the dark will be heard and someone will answer our cry.

So, I also have a dream…..

If I accepted jesus and routinely repent my sins on Sundays (at church), but the next Friday I sinned again, let's say I said "God Damn." Then I am in a car accident and I die, before I have repented for that on Sunday, am I doomed to hell?

Me: I always through salt over my shoulder if spilled. I won't walk under ladders. I absolutely FREAK if my kids open an umbrella inside. I am very careful with mirrors. It bugs me if a black cat crosses my path. I never void a mistake on a lottery ticket. And never kill a ladybug or daddy long legs.

And a guy that used to work for me wouldn't take sissors out of your hand. If he needed them, you would have to set them down - he wouldn't take them from you.....apparently it's bad luck.

Believing as I currently do that there is a God and that I have a soul and that since I know God and am forgiven by Him I will join Him one day in Heaven that gives me hope and an end goal to look forward to. If I abandon my faith in that and decide to believe in nothing how does that benefit me?

How would it make you feel, as an Atheist, to find yourself standing before God at the end of your life and not only having to justify your own lack of faith but your deliberate demise of my faith resulting in my downfall and my eternity spent in hell along with you? Hypothetically speaking, of course.

If you're a stillborn child or mentally retarded, why should that affect the soul? How are our souls different from each other? Is man judged by his soul or his intelligence? Why isn't it possible for people to be incapable of comprehending God due to their intelligence? Why does a person's soul reflect what he's learned on earth?

I like fruitcake.

I love fruitcake.

What's wrong with fruitcake?

Also, what's happened to the fruitcakes in stores?

Even if you can find a store that sells them, they're smaller and smaller, not like the big ones that used to come packed in large round metal cans.

I wish I could sue everyone who ever insulted me. What Richards said was disgusting. But sue him, for WHAT. What about free speech. These people did exactly what they should have done when they didn't like what was being said, they walked out. Is Richards racist? in that moment yes. we all are racist at times. j.jackson, farakhan, gibson, m.jackson etc. Grow up, he made a mistake. He should compensate people for the ticket price they paid to see his lousy act, but no more. lawyers, lawyers, lawyers. Is that a buck I smell?

As a child, we had a song we would sing in church. It stated, " They will know we are Christian by our love."

Could this be the sign ?
