My daughters, 12 & 10 at the time, flew out to North Carolina to spend Christmas with their grandparents. The flight was only supposed to be a few hours, and they got caught in a storm and got stranded at Atlanta airport for several hours. A lady that was on their flight bought them dinner at the airport and gave them comfort until the flight took off, and also gave them a few dollars in case they needed it for anything. I wish I knew her name so I could thank her.
