If a Black gets mad at another Black and calls him the N word, is he racist?

Then why is it anytime a person of another race gets mad and calls a Black
the N word, he has to be racist? Maybe he's just mad and name-calling!

technicly this is not racism, as expressed through modern day television, only black people can say the n word on air. Examples such as dave chapelle and south park characters. Another example of this on tv is the word f a g, only people playying the rule of a gay character or gays can legally say f a g on air without it being sensored out. You can not be racist against your own rase it would not be considered a hate crime as well in the legal system of the united states. Hate cirmes consist of crimes between two differnt races not the same.

Because they can't say it. They feel it's a double standard. Never mind how I feel about the word (I hate it and don't say it), but I understand why some Blacks do say it. We took it back from it's intended meaning. When Black people address each other with that term, it means something COMPLETELY different than what it does to non-Black people.

no, even if a Black person does get mad, that would be racist to themselves...? And not unless they are one of those people that hate themselves and their race would they do that. But that most likely never happens, white people don;t call each other crackers or honkeys when they get mad at each other nor do black people call each other the N word when they get mad at each other

Yeah, ive seen this question posted before and its quite brain teasing. Blacks don't think much of it when they call another black person a "N*****" but if a white or person of another race says it, the get self defensive and try to pick a fight. This goes along with people calling asains ch*nks, etc etc...

So no I don't think they are racist.. unless a white person says it to a black person.

No. When a Black calls another Black "*****" then he isn't a racist becuz he's Black himself. So he's basically calling himself a ***** too. However, u have to be Black in order to say this to another Black. If ur not Black, then you would be considered a racist, becuz ur not Black and u can't say that to another Black.

I don't understand the philosophy behind this (a black calling a black this) This is a spanish word(*****) meaning black or colored person; used for insulting. Then the blacks turn it around, and thinks it's their own word. Get it?
