Writings of non-christians about Jesus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_and_textual_evidence#Non-Christian_writings

Since this is wikipedia, the best thing to do is get the names there, and then research what each writer said.

As for freet and other hardcore atheists, it doesn't matter what textual, archeological, or other kinds of evidence is found; they will always find a way to dispute it. Their minds are totally closed, and anything found that might prove the existence of Jesus is automatically deemed a fraud by these rabid atheists. Jesus said that people don't come to the light (Him) because their evil deeds will be exposed. These atheist are afraid to take an honest inventory of themselves and the hurt they have caused others, and that is why they refuse to believe that the existence of Christ might, at the least, be possible. I, for one, believe He is the Savior. Too bad these atheists can't open their minds for one sliver of a second to that possibility.

The Shiny-Walled Box Thingie

An Amish boy and his father were visiting a nearby mall.
They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but
especially by two shiny silver walls that moved apart and
back together again by themselves.

The lad asked, "What is this, father?"

The father (having never seen an elevator) responded, "I
have no idea what it is."

While the boy and his father were watching wide-eyed, an old
lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving walls and
pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled
between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy
and his father watched as small circles lit up above the
walls.

The walls opened up again and a beautiful twenty-four-year-
old woman stepped out.

The father looked at his son anxiously and said, "Go get
your mother."

My really good friend is gay. He told me before anyone else and I have known for years but no one else did. He finally told his mom and she basically disowned him and his mom's boyfriend told him that he was a low life and nasty. I have alot of friends who are gay or lesbian and always have had alot so I have never had a problem with it. Also, because I associate with alot of people who are lesbians, alot of people think that I am and I get alot of **** said to me about how nasty I am and that I am going to hell and all kinds of other **** too. Basically, my question is, are you against or alright with gay relationships. Just wondering how many people are or aren't.

Do you go by the race of your father (black, but very light) or your mother (who is white)? To look at him, he looks white. You would never know that his father is black.

Especially watching everyone (except me) running around in a panic getting everything they think they need for Christmas. The shops only close for a couple of days so why the panic?

All the debt they get themselves into... and I sit back and laugh at the stupidity of it all.......

Happy Christmas to one and all :)

If it's true? I have found plenty of websites that say "normal, regular" Asians "on average" hate blacks even more than nazi KKK whites. So why am I considered racist if I show everyone that "All to most" asians hate blacks, when it's the truth? They love/adore/prefer whites though, and that is the truth. And yes I am black, a very consious black person that is aware of the surrounding of the world.

If you had a son who was fighting depression, you wouldn't just tell him to pray would you?

In the Islamic religion i know 5 times a day is important for prayer, but is a person obligated to pray 5 times a day when he is sick or taking medicine? Should he still try to pray if he takes medicine that makes him sleep too much or does he have to make up those missing prayers later or should he still try to get out of bed and pray when he is sick?

should questions about drug experiences be prohibited, banned, flagged, reported, and/or removed?
The other day I bought a legal substance (Salvia Dinorum)and had the trippiest experience of my life and needed some answers. My question was flagged and removed. It wasn't a question of drugs but rather experience and when closed minded people flag these questions i think they just want to keep everybody else ignorant about thintgs they don't understand.
example: 1 dose of nyquil messes me up, if i asked a question about that, would it get flagged for drug content?
Why do they want to keep people in the dark, do they want people to try **** for themselves with no answers beforehand?
Why?

Should America be a society that values and promotes it's various ethnic and cultural backgrounds? Should America be a country where many languages are spoken, many diverse traditions are observed and respected? Or should all people, regardless of ethnicity, religion or history, be expected to conform to a homogenous norm?

I recently answered a question pertaining to abortion and in the subsequent answers someone made a remark along the lines of ,"Oh, what cute little christians out there" or something like that.

Just because I am pro-life, I don't support abortion and feel that people who use abortion as a contraception method are murdering children DOESN'T mean that I am christian. It means that I am a compassionate person who has no tolerance for those who don't think through with their actions and do whatever they want to, whenever they want to.

It would be greatly appreciated by myself, and I think it's safe to say many others, for those of you who answer questions to not assume you know everything about everyone on this site.

You know what they say about those who assume.

This is not a joke question. Yes, I am male. However, being an intuitive person, I fully understand things such as feeling and expression. In other words, I am just as perplexed as women are about why men behave in certain ways.

Why do most men talk and act as though they are impervious to feelings and emotions? And why do many men (not all, but many) have so little regard for other people's feelings? Does it all come naturally to them? Is it advantageous to be that way?

OK, I'll prepare for the fireworks now...

i am saying there is only one GOD(some ppl call him as deva, jesus, abraham, allah, E.H.G.O......its just tht this whole world is divided into various category , which is madeup of many religions and sub castes.......but THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD< whom ppl from different religion addresses in different names.the essence of every religion, and wht every religion proclaims to strive at is one and essentially the same thing................TO WORK ONE~S WAY TO GOD`s SIDE...to be with GOD.......so then y is there a need for all these diiferent religions?y cant the ppl of this whole world accept this ultimate truth and come to terms with it....and transcend themselves from the narrowness and limtiations which , often tend to attach itself when someone becomes a stauch follower of a particular religion...............leading to fanaticisms
