i am saying there is only one GOD(some ppl call him as deva, jesus, abraham, allah, E.H.G.O......its just tht this whole world is divided into various category , which is madeup of many religions and sub castes.......but THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD< whom ppl from different religion addresses in different names.the essence of every religion, and wht every religion proclaims to strive at is one and essentially the same thing................TO WORK ONE~S WAY TO GOD`s SIDE...to be with GOD.......so then y is there a need for all these diiferent religions?y cant the ppl of this whole world accept this ultimate truth and come to terms with it....and transcend themselves from the narrowness and limtiations which , often tend to attach itself when someone becomes a stauch follower of a particular religion...............leading to fanaticisms

What if we took the same approach in the area of science....For instance, we all know there is one SHAPE of the earth. Some say it is flat, others square, others rounded. Why not remove the fanaticism and just unite under the banner that we are all right. That all roads lead to the truth....

God is one. And blessed are those who worship Him "in spirit and in truth"

When you think about this, there may be someone of a different polytheic religion that might be saying, "how can you believe there is just one God? Why are you so limited in your thinking?" Not trying to insult you, it's just that you're set in your belief, and they're set in there belief. Just because you think you're absolutely right does'nt mean you'll be able to convince others of your belief.
Your upbringing, and mine too, has taught us to believe that there is only one God, in this case, a Biblical God. Does that mean we are right? We may think so, but try to convince someone that has never read the Bible, or even heard of the Christ. Take Hinduism for instance. They believe in many Gods. In India, people have been born into this belief, grew up in it, and practice their rituals associated with this. Then one day, you show up and tell them they are wrong. You think these people are just going to drop what they're doing on your word alone? They'll treat you as a heretic and might cause bodily harm on you, depending on how you act.
So who's right? Is it the Bible? Is it Islam? Is it Buddah, Hinduism, Shintoism, etc. etc.? The stories in the Bible have promoted much violence in the Old Testament. Those that have interpreted the Bible in corrupt ways have caused great misery on many people throughout history. Given this history, you think people are just going to trust your word, just because you feel it's right? Best to be prepared to state your case very well before you convince someone in the future. Heck, there are even many Christian sects that are at odds with each other because of interpretational beliefs.

No, you are incorrect. There is only one God, and those others do not believe or accept Jesus as the son of God, there for, do not accept the almighty God Himself. All of those other gods are created by satan to confuse men away from the almighty God.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. There was not allah, no mohamud, not buddah etc. Just The God the Father, God the son (Jesus) and God the Holy Ghost, who are all one in the same.

Because if God truly exist then would it not be logical since there are so many different types of people in the world that there would be many different types of religion. We all have our own culture, and religion is mix in with so many religions in the world, it's bound to change to fit in better for each different culture.

I agree w/ you there is only one Almighty God. He is the one whom Jesus, Abraham, and all others prayed to. His name is found in Exodus 6:3, King James.

Jesus taught his followers to pray: "holy be your name"-- not may your name be hidden. Problem is many do not know even his name. Some have erased his name in the Bible.

Because a lot of religions have their own propaganda machine, and you have absolutely no evidence that you are right. How do you KNOW you are RIGHT? How do YOU know that it isn't the Hindus, or the Buddists, who have STUMBLED on to the CORRECT PatH? Indeed, do you have any PROOF your gOd exisTS?

See. I can type in FUnnY cAsEs and make myself look MAD as Well.

There is only one God: His name is Jesus. He loves you. He died for you on the cross. God is holy and no one could EVER live a good enough live to get into heaven b/c He is perfect and we are nowhere near. But Jesus lived a perfect life, and died on the cross so that by acceptin His salvation and believing in Him, we could have eternal life with Him in heaven.
