by free i mean like, not run under a queen or king, or women dont have as much rights, and so on

ones which have dictatorships- mainly north korea, iran, zimbabwe
ones under government control- china
ones which are poor- particularly those in africa particularly

in other words, its ones that have poor human rights records and where the people are monitored and censored for a variety of other things and are told what to say and do by their governments and people in power

It depends on what your idea of "free" is.

Most people would say that North Korea is not a free country because there are only 6 different haircuts allowed for men. Some would say that Holland is not a free country because they just recently banned burkas. Some people would say that China is not a free country because if you mention Tibet, Taiwan or Falun Gong, you're put in prison. Some would say that the USA isn't free because the electoral system does not account for each person's vote.

"Free" is a subjective word. Some places are more "free" than others, but only from a certain perspective.

What do you mean by "free"?

On a side note, you can check with Amnesty International. They're very concerned with all this.

better to ask which are free as the response is simple. None. No life or country is free of responsibility, living cost and relationships. Looking for truth requires definition that exactly explains your questions intent

hmm I think North Korea is...they are a communist nation. The Dominicain Republic used to be a dictatorship in the '30s when the evil Truijillo was in power. He killed many Dominicans during his term. They arent under dictatorship now But I'm not exactly sure about other countries at this time.

No countries are free, just try buying one.... Anyway. All countries have governments and taxes and rules.
