By non-vague, I mean those that could be interpretted in different way.

eg: "person A shall be cleansed" could be interpretted as person A will take a bath, that he'll be cleansed of evil, that he'll be purged in fire.

Something specific would be nice.

-- No bible quotes from Christians, please and thank you: this is a question about alternative spirituality; it is not an invitation to explain your beliefs or to proselytize. --

Obviously Christians, Jews and Muslims believe they must fear and worship / adore that which they perceive as "God". And Paganism / Wicca has gods and goddesses its practitioners regard with praise and adulation.

So which belief systems allow or postulate that there is a "God" (or gods), but does not necessarily accept the idea that God has a humanlike ego that requires praise and exaltation?

At my church, they hand you a wafer (I guess it is) and then you dip it in grape juice then you eat it. Is there a certain way you should do this? I want to know I am doing it right.

I lived there for years, and never felt more creeped out by the sheer arrogance and obvious two class mentality. If it wasn't for the Hispanic influx and the obvious fact that the trashy white neocon elite constantly exploit them, I doubt that place would function.

Not every Texan is that way thankfully, but there is a Crawford Tx mentality that prevails beneath the surface and has for years.

Creepy place, hostile weather and natives who love to exploit outsiders. If you are not born there and do not share the prevailing political beliefs of the majority, you will get royally fleeced.

"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." - Romans 10:9-10

I have narrowed it down to: God's infinite wisdom, kismet, fate, karma or just the way things were intended to turn out. What do you think? Who knows for sure? Is there a tangible reason?

Why is they can advertise magazines which contain barely clothed women on tv but they can't advertise adverts involving food. It's not the kids who buy it.

What do you think?

Also why don't they just ban all adverts, the food ones are the best the rest are crap. The are just trying to control everyone. First ban adverts, then ban the food.

(Genesis 6:1,2) Here we learn that during the time from the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, until Noah's flood, some of the angels materialized fleshly human bodies and became fully involved with mankind. They became enticed with sin, and sinful desires.

"There were giants (Hebrew: Nephilim) in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the Sons of God (angels) came unto the daughters of men (humans) and they bare children to them, the mutant offspring were giants, physically and mentally superior to humans, yet they were brutish, sensual, violent and immoral, and they were all males.

Genesis 1-6. Bible believers, Angels DID become man, until the flood destroyed them. Does this make sense to anyone, and do you agree with this interpretation of the verse?

If you dont believe the Bible, and you want to spout of with some rude comment, feel free, but it will be ignored.
