I think it is those who follow a god instead of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. We cannot stop them, only the return of Jesus will stop them. He says so in His Word. Accuse me of being intolerant, but I know the truth and the truth has set me free.

Prejudice is the greatest evil. It is religion that perpetuates prejudice. When a religion claims to be the only way to God, than
those followers think that they are the only ones who are right. That is a dangerous thing. When the religious books associated with that religion justify their prejudices, like homosexuality for example, than the hate will be even harder to overcome.

So, if there must be religion, we must accept all the other ways to worship God as equal to our own. We must reject the religious texts that were written by men with an agenda of their own.

Apply common sense to a belief in God. Ask yourself, is God going to condemn anyone to an eternity in a place called hell? The answer would be No, that is absurd.

I think the greatest evil of our time are the most subtle evils that are disguised as self help or things that compromise our values but are considered politically correct.
We can stop it by praying every day for discernment of what is right and wrong for ourselves and praying for all those around us.
Have a great Thanksgiving holiday!

The greatest evil of our time and every time is human... we created the religions to control people and we caused holy wars, we are destroying our own planet and now we cry because muslims are hitting us and because our planet is destroying our houses and our life.

Human race is the evil (all races) and we will not stop it until the nature or bombs destroy us... It's sad, but true...

The greatest evil on earth is disbelieving in God, so Satan will be the king of all evils, Satan will continue their mission to bring disasters among human themselves and there is no other way except God has to do something about it. By this time , the end of the world will be near.

The misconception that we are powerless to make a difference in the world. This, combined with apathy, keeps us from solving most of the world's problems, which are wholly solvable.

The greatest evil is killing in the name of God.

John 16:2b, "yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service."

The next greatest evil is Political Correctness. =/

Who can say what evil is greater than another? The Bible says that there is not one good man no not one. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. If you are not saved then you are not doing the will of God so you must not be doing good.

Absolutists and zealots who declare that they either speak for God or are following his "Word" while they go around advocating everything up to and sometimes including violence on anyone they don't like. The only remedy is adequate secular education.

I won't hold my breath.
