pkuchick,
That ws a very funny question to place here on this part of the site. (As in; laughing now)

I checked when I first came here and asked this section if there were any LGBT Christians here, and the response was actually encouraging.

No I would rather die, than to take the Mark of the Beast. It's prototype is already being injected into the upper arm area, and used for medical reasons first. But the same company is offering the chip for financial reasons, also.

I figure that when the government gets involved, the chip will be placed in the right hand of forehead.

no matter if those chips exist, it really is not what the e book of Revelations is pointing to. it really is purely yet another difficulty-loose false impression. God does not care about charge playing cards, and no matter if you take advantage of one has not something to do with no matter if you're saved. it really is ridiculous. The Bible is a non secular e book, and it discusses non secular concerns. The mark of the beast is a lot more effective than a chip in a card; of that you will be confident.

First off I'm not Christian, second no, not if I could help it. I don't like the thought of people putting things like that under my skin. Oh and no one actually knows what the mark of the beast is.

this sort of urban legend has been floating around a long time.

In the late 80s, supposedly, it was going to be a mandatory bar code tattoo. Never happened.

don't hold your breath wating for this new "law."

If anything comes about, it will be a new cell-phone or entertainment-related implant that will become the next big thing - and everyone will want one. It's easier to control Americans by making them want things than by requiring them to do things.

i would refuse because if i wanted people to track me down (which i dont) then i would put a leash on me. this chip is just a leash made by the man so keep tabs on you 24-7-365

To begin with it won't be a law, it won't have to. it will simply be the "money" of the day. You'll take it. End of story. It will be the medium of exchange which replaces paper money, which any dork with a printer can now make (and many do).

I would refuse that, that's why I carry an i.d card for. why do they need a tracking device in my head. what's the real purpose of having the chip?

I would definately refuse it....we are humans not animals that belong on leashes! Although some people do need to be on a leash =P
