some of my family are christains and some are into whitchcraft. We say the same boring old prayer every year. even though they don't believe in the same, We still like to give thanks (to who ever they may silently pray to)
I am looking for a silly prayer that covers all grounds and still gets the point accross.
There is also someone at thanksgiving that is on my whole family's sh*t list, I would also like to toss in some hints to this person, while in the prayer that he is not wanted there. He has hurt many and I just want him to know that he has messed with the wrong family.
You know like the serenity prayer, there are several funny versions of that. any idea's?

I mean I hear atheists say that atheism isn't a religion so why do they still post in the RELIGION AND SPRITUALITY section?

Should they be allowed to? What they mostly do is attack other beliefs.

Just kidding. a lot of people who are familiar with buddhism say that buddhist are very peacful and loving and christians are more concerned about materialism and power and that's why they are always in positions of power in first world countries eventhough jesus in the gospels had a lot of parables saying how rich and powerful are corrupt.

The Bible tells us that we are all conceived and born with sin in the flesh which condemns us to hell. The Bible states that as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin passed to all men. Our living morally upright lives and doing good works does not address the problem of condemnation which we have all inherited as Jesus said clearly to Nicodemus that we must be born again. Why in your opinion does the mainstream Churches of today fail to address this issue from the pulpit and warn people that its their inner condition which ultimately results in their going to hell and that their good works can't save them. Some Churches today appear to be nothing more than a huge social club and ignore this critical fact.

Creation argument:
The universe had a beginning.
Anything that had a beginning must have been caused by something else.
Therefore, the universe was caused by something else, and this cause was God.
Design argument:
All designs imply a designer.
There is a great design in the universe.
Therefore, there must be a Great Designer of the universe.
Moral law argument:
All men are conscious of an objective moral law.
Moral laws imply a moral Lawgiver.
Therefore, there must be a supreme moral Lawgiver.
Being argument:
Whatever perfection can be attributed to the most perfect Being possible (conceivable) must be attributed to it (otherwise it would not be the most perfect being possible).
Necessary existence is a perfection which can be attributed to the most perfect Being.
Therefore, necessary existence must be attributed to the most perfect Being. Are there more 'debatable' arguments? I'm seeking genuine answers from those of all religious faiths and spiritual backgrounds.

Now we have the debate about our American President. Members of both sides don't agree with him. But I think that we need to look into future trends for the American Presidency.

For those of you in their late teens, early adult hood, remember that 30 years from now, someone your age will be a president. Do you expect our generation to be able to commit to something like that in the future, when our generation has a lack to commit to anything now. We are either taught, or teach ourself every day, how to do things the easy way, find the shortcuts. What does that say for us 30 years from now?
