being a buddhist myself, i feel confident in telling you that buddhism can't even be compared to Christianity. Buddhism isnt a religion. at all. It's a way of life. Buddha is not a God, contrary to popular belief. He was born into a royal family, and decided to go on a quest to find the answers to life. Frusrtated, he decided to sit under a tree and meditate until he became "awakened". hence Buddha, The enlightened one. He claimed that worshiping him would be like spitting on his grave. The eightfold path can be compared to the ten commandments, only the commandments are rules, and the eightfold path is more life guidelines to living the most fullfilling life possible.

You cannot compare them. Buddhism is a way of life---to find peace and contentment of the inner self.
Christianity is a false religion that says Jesus was G-d. There is no G-d but G-d. And, He is One.
