Now we have the debate about our American President. Members of both sides don't agree with him. But I think that we need to look into future trends for the American Presidency.

For those of you in their late teens, early adult hood, remember that 30 years from now, someone your age will be a president. Do you expect our generation to be able to commit to something like that in the future, when our generation has a lack to commit to anything now. We are either taught, or teach ourself every day, how to do things the easy way, find the shortcuts. What does that say for us 30 years from now?

If this nation still exists in its present form, and if this nation is not flat broke, current trends will continue. Voters will elect whoever promises the most goodies. No one will care how, or when, we will pay for them. That's part of the "....lack to commit to anything...." that you mentioned.

We have an opportunity to become like a Third World Country in 30 years. That will go nicely with the American Presidency, which is really a constitutionally weak office.

I don't know if there will be change that soon, its almost as if the rich predomently white people that run for President are fed all the same bull sh*t and they are teaching it to my generation right now, I can hope that in the future the people that run for president will be able to commit and actually be intelligent

First of all, if I'm here 30 yrs. from now I'll be 80---I'll probably do well to be able to or to know if I tinkle and fart. If the world is still standing, I'll be suprised to see a lady president or someone black. I don't know if the world will ever be ready for either one.
