The king of an ancient European kingdom, confirmed by the Pope, was besiged in his castle by a foriegn king's forces. After many years, he surrendered in exchange for the lives of his subjects and soldiers. He and his family were exiled, he being banished to a monastery in another country where he lived out his days. His family thrived in the new country and a long line of descendents still exist today. As this was prior to the ideaology of primogenture being widely accepted, and as historical examples show, it was common in this former kingdom for the royal blood line to be extended through male and female descendants, what would be the correct form of address for a male, or female, of direct descent?

I can't find the question now but a little while back someone asked about the evolution of viruses that we see and didn't that support evolution.

Some replied that this was mutation not evolution. Now there is no qualitative difference (both just involve rearranging the base pairs of RNA) so any posited difference must be quantitative. Where is the boundary between mutation (possible) and evolution (impossible)? What is the mechanism that kicks in to stop mutation going betomd a certain point? And how do we know that that mechanism limits mutation to such an extent that it stops evolution?

I have read the theory that mutation stops at the boundaries of the species but haven't read of any mechanism that would ensure that.

This is what Ozymandia said:

The absence of a higher power denotes a lack of accountability for ones actions...

That is why I do not trust anyone who is an athiest.

I find this ridiculous and shows how stupid some people are. It's like saying you refuse to talk to Muslims, Gays, Women and Little People. (just a reference)

I hope he is the only one that thinks that cause in all fairness shouldn't Atheists be the ones that don't trust religious people for believing in something fake? But wait, we don't judge! We accept others beliefs for their own personal choice. Where are your thoughts on this

Do you (does your group) enact the Oak King v. Holly King drama?

Do you have a Yule log?

Do you call the sun back?

Do you observe the "dark days" before and after Yule?

Let's share some traditions and rituals; I love to hear about others' celebrations.

I have been wasting my time here at work, looking up hundreds of answers about drugs and it looks like so many Americans feel as if you do one drug one time, it effects you for the rest of your life. What happened to the drug users of the 70's that knew when enough was enough? It seems like we lost our drug culture to battles over money and fame... WAKE UP! It's unbelievable how many idiots think that drugs will kill you. I have done over 55 different types of drugs, yet still am able to maintain a healthy body, active sex life, steady job, mortgage, etc etc etc. So what if people get high every now and then?? Let's hear some opinions that don't sound like Mr. Mackey from South Park, m'kay?
