I KNOW that you have a MN accent. But I can't talk. Mine is way worse than yours!

I am from Minnesota.. I think in some regard we all have a accent.. I do not think all minnesotans talk like the damned movie fargo. Which supposedly wasn't in minnesota anyhow.. I have a friend from England who gets bothered by people all the time when he talks.. Yes i agree he has an accent.. He thinks we all have accents.. I say enjoy what you have.. and well.. keep on lovin everyone elses accent.. It makes for good fun sometimes..

Gotta let go of your vowels, man. Knowing two Minnesotans in Florida, you guys really do have an accent compared to everyone else. You just can't tell b/c you *live* in Minnesota.

Yeah, you do.

I know that Minnesotans didn't get it when "Fargo" came out, but a cousin of mine from the East Coast lived in MN when that movie was out, and he thought it was hilarious how no one born and raised there was laughing, while he and everyone else from out-of-region were rolling on the floor.

I've been to MN, and I can assure you you do.

Nothing wrong with it, by the way.

It's not a bad accent--it's just an emphasis on certain vowels, I'd say. It's not overly perceptible, like a Southern drawl, for example.

You betcha. I used to live an hour from Minnesote-a. They are all a-boat their ax-cent. The moovy Fargo wint a little too far, but it was close to what you would expect to find. The further north you go and the more rual you go the heavieer the ax-cent will be.

You betcha.

Seriously, I don't think they have an accent either.

I can't tell you--- I can't hear you speak. But people from Minnesota do have a distinctive way of speaking, youbetcha.
