don,t you mean the red rose of Leicester, i think the emblem for Lancaster was a parsnip.fancy a war over a rose,what would they had done if they lost the F A CUP.

Currently living over the border, I love travelling from the North through to Lancashire and seeing the sign"Welcome to the Red Rose County".
Why didn't you ask a question that may have puzzled the folks on this site: Who is the Duke of Lancaster?
