Can someone provide me with a link to a site where I could find a picture? It's for a little girl who asked only for that for Christmas. Any help would be appreciated.

I cannot make a seperation between myself and the one I am touching. Sometimes when I am healing a migraine that someone has carried with them for days, after I brake my connection with them, I leave with the migraine. There has been times after touching someone I have physically gotten sick. what is something that you can suggest. I have tried creative visualization, and put a light around me for protection while I am touching someone. But for some reason just my doing that it strengthens my connection with them. Do you have any suggestions, or know of any books I can refer to... Thank you
Oh and so this will post I must say god god god god how many times. THere is no place like home, Ok yahoo poilce God god god god. Do you know god when you are doing this work? Is that good enough now for the yahoo police? God God GOd. Darn they wont let me post it.. DO you think when you are doing the healing is it god or you?

A Tame Diety
Much of the discussion about "my God" my "HP" and "lightbulbs" is an attempt to construct a model of a "tame" deity who is easily controlled and poses no threat to the ego's authority.

I am an ex-atheist who lost my atheism in AA as the result of answered prayer when I prayed on an experimental basis. I think of God as maintaining all life and consciousness. I have learned to meditate and I feel the presence of something that I can only describe as infinite. I do not think that my mind can even begin to comprehend what it, God, is.

The effects of this on me is that I feel that I belong here, that I don't have to apologize for being here and taking up space. I feel that my continued sobriety is evidence of being loved and accepted by the Power that I pray to and I no longer need to depend on the approval of others.

I need advice to give my friend who isn't saved.
Any good advice to make my friend a believer?
She is 17 I would hate to see her go to hell. She is very sweet,kind,and caring person. I haven't said anything about God to her yet. I'm just waiting for the right time. And I think tomorrow is the right time to tell her about God. I just need help on what to say to her.

Is there anything to stop an athiest or non-theist from lying, other than the fact that he or she does not want to? No threats of hell or eternal damnation? Do you think you lie more or less than the average theist? And for the theists, what is the punishment if you lie? Do you think you lie more or less than the average non-theist?

I usually try to get out of there as fast as I can. People are free to do what they want, I just don't understand how effective a political message can be on the inside of a putrid bathroom stall. I certainly don't take the time to hang out and read it.

I am sure I have read some where that as to not offend people, that the Christmas trees are to be called Winter trees. Or something along those lines, anyway.
I am outraged at this. I think most politicians, media and certain people are taking the situation in UK (terror attacks etc) a bit out of hand. PC has gone absolutely crazy!!
It has always been CHRISTMAS TREES!! And CHRISTMAS trees it should remain.
Just to let you know I was brought up as a Muslim. Myself and my siblings all grew up with Christmas around, we all sent Christmas cards to our friends. My parents sent Xmas cards to their friends.
We had Christmas decorations up every year.
Now I have a daughter and I also want her to grow up embracing Christmas.
I just think it is ridiculous. Just by saying Xmas, Diwali Hanukah, or any other religous occasion or by taking part in different religous occasions does not make you any less a person.
But leaves you broad minded and acceptant of others.

Why do we refer to God to a "he" even though God isn't a male or a woman. Isn't that an insult to God. I wouldn't like some one to call me a male.

I am confused, and most of my life have found it very hurtful that almost every psychic or card reader I have attempted to go to refuses to read me or leaves me to last and then has no time, I have been at a party where there was an aura reader, who asked me to leave the room, I have been told I have no soul. This can be very disturbing to some and I have had mostly bad luck my whole life, the only people i have met that say they can help me only want lots of money, I can't seem to find anyone who is really willing to help.
I have always tried to be a good person and keep love and God in my heart.

christians answer me this....why is that christians who say they accept the bible as gods word, and live by it, believe in ghosts, and believe that they can talk to their dead loved ones when that is totally contradicting what the bible really says. i mean the bible warns you of spirit mediums and the dead, and in ecciesiastes 9:5,6 the bible states, for the living know that they will die:but the dead know not anything, neither have they anymore a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.....also their love and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished, neither have they anymore a portion for ever anything that is done under the sun.so then again i ask, why is it that most christians believe in ghosts??????

my girlfriends brother is always asking her for rides to and from work, he ask's all the time to use the truck to go get something to eat or go to the bank etc... a few times he has been gone for hours.he always say's he'll give us gas money but never does once in awhile he will wash it while he's out and we know he only does it so we wont say anything about the gas money, but its gotten to the point were we wont pick up the phone sometimes when he calls cause we know most of the times its he needs a ride somewhere its getting really annoying i mean she loves her brother and tries to help but i feel like he takes advange sometimes? any advice always help
